interest check: wolf 359 relisten club!
hi all! myself, @kazoofiasco and @airshipvalentine have been craving a wolf 359 relisten (since its ten-year anniversary was in august!) and wondered if folks would be interested in a chill community listen-along, book club style. no formal gathering place, just a tag and a schedule of 2 or 3 episodes a week so that folks can post and engage with each other, whether relistening or listening for the first time! if there’s interest, further updates and a tentative october start date will be @wolf359radioclub :)

hera after almost accidentally killing everyone on the station again

love everyone saying that they're in elementary school. i'm imagining another dreamscape liveshow but instead of high school it's fifth grade graduation

for all minkowski wants to do things by the book, it's soo easy for her to get pulled into eiffel's spiraling vortex of unprofessionalism. what even was the schedule a year into their mission? like, kepler actually trying to enforce protocol was a horrible shock to eiffel's system, and even then. he still overslept and was late for everything. what was minkowski doing? a third of her crew just fully doesn't show up for her briefing, and, what? she's wasting her own time clanging on the door of his quarters with a wrench until he can't take it anymore, and that takes even more time because now he's definitely not getting up. on principle. there's a non-zero percent chance that she's just barged in there and pulled the covers off of him like he's a teenager who won't get up for school. but only once, on the basis of things she would rather have gone her whole life without seeing.

wolf 359 is a show that poses many important questions such as “how much training do you REALLY need to go to space,” “is it still a war crime if you’re light-years away from the nearest living soul,” “how many times can you send one guy into the limitless void before he gets pissed enough to kill you about it,” “what if the ship of Theseus was a person,” “how many different ways can you kill someone without them dying,” and of course, “would that be fucked up or what”
