Identity V x GN! Reader || Chapter 5
A/N: IM SO SORRY FOR THE LATE UPDATE! I wasnāt too motivated to write the past two days and I also am struggling a little with my internet atm, sooo yes. Iāll try to update more regularly <3
After the two had left, you were once again back alone in your room. It was fancy with a gothic touch and certainly not the smallest, but that was also exactly the reason why you felt so lonely beneath those walls.
The room was big and wide, coloured in dark times and you felt small and empty here. So you decided to go back on a exploring stroll.
And here you were now, trying your best to find your way back to the Dining Hall to at least have some sort of company as that seemed to be the most occupied place in the whole building.
On your way, you tried to memorise each step you took to later on be capable on finding your way back.
You were ripped out of your thoughts when you bumped into someone, making you and the stranger fall to the floor.
You heard another seemingly heavy object land on the floor as well beside.
"You again?" The person's voice seemed oddly familiar and you knew you had met the before. "Jeez, I knew you were gonna be a pain for me sooner or later."
When you finally decided to look up, you stared right into the masked face of Aesop Carl.
He had already shoved you off, stood up and grabbed the object which turned out to be his suitcase before you could react, turning his back on you and marching off. You didn't trust him or his mysterious behaviour, especially with his whole fantasies about death. He seemed capable of a lot of things and you trusted him to be dangerous.
You quickly jumped up. Whether you disliked him or not wasn't of importance right now, you needed advice. "Mr Carl, do you know where the Dining Hall is?"
Aesop grunted out a low "downstairs" through his mask and disappeared behind the corner afterwards.
Shrugging, you made your way downstairs, soon enough finding the two, enormous ebony doors leading to the Dining Hall, which seemed to always be open.
A bunch of survivors were still there, even though the sun had started to set already.
As you pulled back and chair and took place, you looked around at the different faces. You hadn't really met any of them yet.
"Boo!" A noise of surprise and shock you weren't proud of left your mouth. Emma giggled as she sat down next to you. "Did I scare you?" "What? Oh nono...," You tried to talk yourself out of it but failed miserably, "okay, maybe a little." The Gardener smiled proudly until a noise from her stomach broke the silence. She grumbled then and leaned back into her chair.
