Alex smoothly bent down and picked up the wrapped up stick of weed, before sliding it into his pack of cigarettes, which he then shoved back into the pocket of the coat. He then sighed, following behind Heidi towards Maggieâs collapsed body. He knelt down by her other side, rubbing her shoulder. He gave Heidi a nod, before getting back to his feet. âyou can stay with her, Iâll call you a cab.â Alex said, somewhat reassuringly. âI want to go home.â Maggie cried, her body trembling from all this alcohol and sadness that had been in her system the whole night. âCome on, weâll get you back into the chair.â Alex suggested. Maggie nodded her head, though didnât do anything to get up, until Alex and Heidi pulled her to her feet. She wrapped her arms around Alex, crying into his chest, as he stroked her hair, keeping some sort of information exchange through eye contact with Heidi. Then he helped her sink back into the chair, before heading inside to call a taxi. Meanwhile, Noella had gotten Penny a towel, painkillers and walked her upstairs to a room. Now she was returned to the patio, where she struggled getting Rick to his feet. His body swayed dangerously even in a sitting position, which made it quite inconvenient for Noella, but she decided not to bother asking any of the others for help, as they were dealing with own drama. âCome on, Rick. Youâre not sleeping outside.â she sighed. Finally, Noella managed to get Rick somewhat conscious, after letting him do a puke-threat into the tub, which then ended in only dry heaving. She helped him to his feet, resting one arm on his back, the other one wrapped around his waist as she guided him to the entrance.Â
Once Penny was left in Peteâs room, she felt like she could relax. Her foot still hurt but the bleeding had seemed to stop thanks to Noella. Penny collapsed into the bed, the only light in the room coming from the hallway through the slightly open door. It honestly felt like she was on a boat, the bed moving underneath her body, the room spinning around her head. She was comfortable enough to fall asleep. If it werenât for still soaking wet t-shirt. She tugged the garment over her head awkwardly before throwing it aside. She climbed under the soft bedsheets and closed her eyes. After spending the past our pretending to flirt with Paul, Buzz finally admitted her lesbian tendencies to the poor jock before skipping away in the hopes of finding Alex so they could laugh at the boy together. She headed towards the patio, remembering that was the last place sheâd seen him. âNoella!â Buzz called out surprised as she almost walked straight into the girl and the boy she was holding up. âHey, have you seen Alex?â She asked, peaking her head around Noellaâs to see if he was out on the patio, only to see Heidi holding Maggie as she cried. âWhat the hell happened there?â She asked, giving Noella a puzzled, yet amused, look.Â
