noella lindeloo - aesthetics.
petemacintosh:
Pete woke up and he was oddly aware that he wasn’t wearing a single item of clothing. The room was quite warm despite the warm spring breeze drifting through the open window. He tried to recall the events of the night before but fell short. And then he became distinctly aware of the body next to his.
She had been awake for a moment, however couldn’t quite recall what had been happening the last twenty-something hours. Her head felt foggy, kinda clogged up with haze, as her eyes watched the ceiling, the beams of sunlight that came through the window. When his body moved, her focus changed. She noticed Pete, and when she sat up she noticed the purple/reddish spots on her collarbones. And that didn’t make sense.
petemacintosh:
Inside the bedroom, Pete made sure the door was locked once the three of them were inside. He didn’t want whatever was about to happen interrupted by one of his dickhead friends. He removed his shirt himself, throwing it across the room. He grabbed his girlfriend, placing a swift but passionate kiss on her lips, before leading her over to the bed. Whilst he pulled Noella along by her hand.
Once on the bed, Iris got on her knees, her hands beginning to work his belt. Noella watched the girl succeed, as Pete’s pants hit the floor. Noella got onto the bed, next to the other girl, and pulled her in for a kiss, as her hands found themselves on the girl’s sides. She helped Iris to remove her shirt, but the girl then took care of the bra herself, throwing it to the floor. Noella’s hands rested on the girl’s breast, as Iris had already slipped her hand underneath the boy’s boxers.
petemacintosh:
He felt so content holding her, he wasn’t ready to lose that when she pulled away. But she didn’t go to far. He watched her face under hooded eyes, his hands wresting on her waist. In that moment Pete stopped using his brain. All he knew of right and wrong vanished from his conscious and he leaned in.
Noella had been admiring his face for a while before he began moving closer. Her first thought was a hazy idea of excitement, and that was pretty much it, as they were kissing before she could even fully realize. And she just let it happen, because it felt like it was supposed to. And she realized that she enjoyed being close to Pete.
petemacintosh:
Pete was taken by surprise as her arms wrapped around him. He didn’t know what to what to do with his arms. He stared ahead for a moment not really sure what to do but then all he could feel was the warmth of her body and every other thought washed away. He wrapped his own own arms around her, his hand rubbing soft circle against her skin. He rested his head on top of her’s and didn’t think about how wrong this was.
Noella let herself rest in his arms, feeling this odd sense of safety that in this state of mind was the most comforting thing. So they stood there like that for a while, or until she moved her head away, her arms however still wrapped around him as she looked up to see his face. Just at the sight of his features a gentle smile spread across her lips.
petemacintosh:
It had taken a while for the ayahuasca to start effecting Pete. He’d been too busy trying to look after Iris to realise his brain had started to feel fuzzy and his mouth started to feel dry. He excused himself from the room him and Iris had occupied and headed for the bathroom to get some water. His head felt like it was all over the place, so much so he didn’t see the other person until she had walked into him. He held out his hands, placing them on her shoulders, to keep his balance. He looked down at Noella, seemingly towering over her. His mouth somehow became more dry. He didn’t know what to say or do but he didn’t move away.
Noella felt a wave of shock wash over her all out of sudden, as she stood there looking directly into his face. Then, the feelings seemed to slow down and she suddenly felt this vague sensation of happy-sad, as if there was something missing, but not in such a nauseating way. Her impulse right then was to hug him, and so she did. And she wanted to tell him about the discovery. She wanted to tell him about her worries. She wanted to tell him that in this very moment she was grateful for his presence. But no words came out of her mouth as her arms wrapped around him, head resting on his shoulder.
Thaddeus confirming her assumptions didn’t make Noella feel any better about the situation. Whether this was a prank or a misunderstanding she had little idea about, but it didn’t make the effects any less uncomfortable. All the colors mixed together and her vision was blurry while she struggled up the stairs, her hand resting the whole time against a wall, as if to hold her on the ground. She was hearing voices and music from downstairs, but her senses couldn’t quite tell where everything was located. Her mind was beginning to imagine things to that point she didn’t want to be there. Therefore, Noella eventually found herself isolated in a bathroom, in a sitting position in the shower with legs pulled up against her chest and water falling down her naked body.
In the middle of the shower, which didn’t seem to be washing any effects away, Noella’s eyes caught a glimpse of something. She had managed to get to her feet and lean against the wall, when her mind drove her into the dark corner of an alleyway and with eyes closed she saw the figure, dressed in black. She saw the mask. And for a split second it all seemed too real. And then she opened her eyes, her body trembling slightly, eyes watering, heart pounding. And she was stuck in there with just herself and her thoughts for quite a while, before calling it a day and stepping out. She got dressed, though with difficulties. Her underwear was on and she was wearing the sweater she had earlier borrowed Rick for the game. The pants she held in her arms along with the shoes as she left the bathroom, in a state of vague shock and confusion.
She had managed to stumble few steps from the door when her body walked into something and nearly collapsed. Noella dropped the burden she was carrying to the floor as her eyes processed his face. She felt dizzy. She felt confused. She felt chaos.
heidimouse:
Heidi placed the joint between her lips, lighting it before taking it away and putting it between Noella’s. Heidi watched the trees, feeling like she was swaying a little bit in the breeze. “Are you feeling as strange as I am?” She asked.
Noella felt like Heidi had brought something to the world that made it clearer. If that made sense. And no, it wasn’t the idea of weed. “I am.” Noella agreed, not really having to think about it twice. “I think there might’ve been something in the alcohol.” she wondered out loud, taking a hit, letting the smoke all the way down to her lungs, before exhaling.
heidimouse:
Heidi had followed Noella out onto the patio, silently. Realising the girl hadn’t noticed her yet, Heidi stood and watched her for a moment. She didn’t know the girl well enough at all. Heidi moved to sit beside her quite suddenly. She pulled a joint from out of her jean’s pocket, holding it out in front of the girl’s eyes. “Smoke?”
Noella’s eyes widened when she felt a movement near her, however she didn’t look at the girl until she was sat down. She didn’t feel like she would after a bit of alcohol, and that worried her, because she could tell that something was off. But, she had also been told that there’s a lot going on in her head. Noella then focused her attention on the joint, deep down a part of her knowing that it didn’t sound like a good idea in this state of mind. However, she did nod her head and accept the offer.

Pete jumped to his feet, at least that’s what he felt like he was doing. He moving slowly. Too slow. “I’ll come with you,” he mumbled, turning to follow Iris upstairs. Wallis lay down down on the floor alongside Buzz. Meanwhile, Frank’s hands roaming Maggie’s body in a way that was acceptable for a public space.
Maggie was just there kinda having a good time, being sleazy and seductive with Frank, on the floor. Noella had sat down on the patio and lit herself a cigarette. She was kinda spacing out, inhaling and exhaling the smoke as if that was the only thing she ever did.

Wallis tried to hide the red that creeped onto his cheeks when he made eye contact with Alex. “Uh,” he thought, really not sure what he thought other people would find funny. “Swap clothes with somebody else,” he dared her. “Your choice,” he added with a teasing grin.
"Oh my God.” Noella said in a semi playful tone with a vague grin. Her eyes then rested on Rick, who let out a laugh. “Do you want my clothes?” he asked her simply. “I do want your clothes.” she told him. “Alright.” he let out another short laugh and they both got up. Noella began stripping, and Rick then followed the lead. She held out her sweater to him. “Wait!” Rick demanded, still trying to take off the jacket. “Come on.” she eyed him. “Yeah, wait, I’m trying.” he whined. “Give me your adidas.” she sorta joked, and they exchanged. Noella then began taking off her pants. “Oh, I don’t know if I’ll fit those.” Rick commented, while unbuckling his belt. The rest of the exchange went well and Rick proudly finished by fixing the sleeves of her sweater. “I feel so beautiful now.” he commented and she let out a laugh, rolling her eyes. Rick then looked her up and down and once she was done he laughed at the sight of her wearing his white boy weed clothes. They then hugged as if to thank each other for the successful exchange, before both sitting down. Noella took a sip of her cider, before spinning the bottle which landed on Heidi. She raised her brows at the girl. “Truth or dare?”
wallisfaist:
Wallis didn’t feel the point in arguing, or maybe it was the fact that whatever that shot was had already gone to his head. He walked over to the table, the others turning their heads to watch him. Penny looked a little concerned, although it was more for the table than Wallis’s safety. Wallis climbed up onto the table, while Buzz reached over to the stereo and changed the music. Boombastic started to play through the speakers, to which Wallis only rolled his eyes. He danced along for a minute, removing his flannel shirt and then his t-shirt. He was a little awkward, but than you’d expect. He jumped off the table before the end of the song, reaching down to spin the bottle before taking his seat back in the circle. The bottle landed on Noella. “Truth or dare,” he asked his friend.
Noella watched the scene, the amusement on her face, but not as strong as for example Maggie’s. Alex watched the boy with a smug grin, leaning his chin on his folded palms held up just below his head. Once he caught eye contact with the boy, Alex winked before letting out a laugh. Noella watched as her friend got off the table, quite proud of him for not failing the task. She then watched as the bottle landed on her, a soft sigh escaping her lips. “Uh, dare, sure.”
buzzlikeabee:
At the sound of the word ‘party’, Frank was out of the kitchen in a flash, still wearing his chef’s apron. Buzz trailed behind him, looking grumpy more than anything else. Wallis got back from the bathroom just as Heidi walked back into the cabin, a crate of cider in her arms. “Kegs and crates are outside,” Pete said, walking over to the doors to the porch and throwing them open. The view from the cabin was nothing short of breathtaking with the sunset falling behind a row of mountains and narrow river running along the back of the propriety. “Let’s do shots!” Buzz cheered suddenly, drawing the attention of the group to her as she seemingly pulled a bottle of what looked like vodka out of thin air, and began placing a row of shot glasses along the top of the coffee table. She bent down on her knees and began pouring the liquid into each. “To a much-needed relaxing trip,” Buzz said, raising her glass. “And a lot of drinking!” Frank cheered, following suit.
Noella furrowed her brows and briefly looked to Pete, surprised by how quick things were evolving. She hadn’t even had the time to look around and everyone’s was already gathering around the table to down some hard liquor. So, Noella decided to follow the crowd, after checking if the front door was definitely locked. She came up behind Rick who sat on one of the stools and had already downed two shots. He turned to look at her, before, with a grin, picking up another glass and passing it over to her. Noella gave him a small smile, bringing the glass to her lips. “Cheers!” Rick raised his third shot. “Cheers.” Noella nodded, downing hers, as majority did the same. Even Iris had placed her jacket on one of the chairs and seemed to relax a little with a shot glass in her hand and a vague smile painting her face.
Noella had been sitting with her head leaned against the window and exhausted expression since Rick fucked up, about while ago, making the trip to the cabin about two hours longer than originally calculated. The rusty truck parked poorly in the semi driveway, by the wooden house, and that’s when Noella finally moved. She looked over to Rick, who offered her a minimal grin, and smiled back before getting out of the car, without a word about the recent inconvenience. She watched the cabin for a moment, while waiting for the rest to get out of the car, before heading to unpack the vehicle. Noella took her bag and a crate of beer, beginning to carry it to the cabin.

Pete pulled into the parking lot of the grocery store. It was midday and the place was mostly empty, most people still in work to be shopping. He’d pulled up alongside another car that he knew, as he did he saw Penny and Buzz get out to greet them. “I haven’t told anybody I invited Frank yet,” he admitted to his girlfriend. Pete gave her a worried look before getting out of the car. “Are the others not here yet?” Pete asked as he approached the two girls. “Heidi and Alex are just picking up supplies from the store,” Penny explained. “I haven’t seen the others yet.” Pete sighed, a little relieved Frank hadn’t shown before him. “I want us to get on the road soon,” he explained. “Before rush hour.”
Iris’ hopes for the vacation kinda fell apart at the honorable mention of Frank, especially since that was the first thing she heard from Pete when he came to pick her up. Half the way to the supermarket she had been trying to explain to him why it seemed like a bad idea, but since it was already done she couldn’t really do much about it. So she had decided to ignore the fact for these couple of minutes, before he brought it up again. Iris sighed, exhausted, her eyes almost rolling back into her skull, as she processed his statement. “What?!” she was quite shocked that he decided to just surprise everyone like that, but she didn’t have the time to give him a speech about it, cause some of his friends were already there. Iris got out of the car as well, waving her hand shyly to the others. She looked to Pete as he spoke, before loud sound of tires screeching reached her ears. She grimaced, before looking in the direction, just to see an old pick up truck speed into the parking lot and abruptly stop just few millimeters away from another, parked car. She watched in disbelief as the driver opened the door and jumped out of the vehicle with a cigarette between his lips, ugly sunglasses and a hat. It was Rick. After him another person got out, brushing her hair behind her ear as she approached with a small smile. Noella. “Hey.” she greeted, beers in her hands. “You’re taking the liquor, yes?”
frankdoherty:
Penny sat there feeling like her whole world was crumbling around her. Pete nodded his head, trying to take in Ellis’s words. It didn’t feel real. He turned back to glance at Rick, not sure what he could say to him. Frank was shocked and completely unsure what to say or do in this situation. He just knew he needed to comfort the girl who was standing in front of him in near tears. “Hey, hey, hey,” Frank tried to say soothingly, something that really wasn’t his strong suit. He brought the girl closer to him, wrapping his arms around her, one hand holding her head and stroking her hair. “Don’t… Don’t get worked up,” he finally said. Nice, Frank. Real nice.
Thad had noticed that something was off and slowly approached, focusing first on Penny, who sat on the floor. He crouched down next to her, looking from one person to another. “What’s happening?” he mumbled, unsure of what else he could do. His question was answered by Rick’s concerns, that weren’t even directed towards him. “Couldn’t it be an accident? You know, something completely unrelated?” Rick was in denial, not sure where he was going. Thad couldn’t figure out what was happening. “She was decapitated.” Ellis was quick to break out the news. Rick was taken aback, and Thad looked to Penny, shocked, before placing a hand on her knee. “Penny, what’s going on?” he whispered to her, concerned. Noella let him hold her, her arms eventually wrapping around him as well as she buried her head in the crook of his neck. His words didn’t help at all, though, and Noella felt even slightly worse. She pulled away. “I-I need to gather my things.” she stated, her breathing shaky, as she began to pick up her clothes from the floor.
frankdoherty:
Penny slowly slid down to the floor, feeling like she’d been hit with a ton of bricks and if she tried to stand for any longer she’d end up fainting. The last thing Pete wanted to do was let go of Noella’s hand. He watched her run up the stairs, his eyes lingering even after she was out of sight. He finally turned back around to Ellis asking all the questions that could think to ask, until one stuck out above the rest. “Could it be Riker? Behind it?” He asked. Frank rushed around the guest room, still buttoning up his shirt and his long coat slung over his arm. He didn’t even notice Noella enter until she ran straight into him. “Hey ‘Ella, have you seen my-” He cut himself off when he saw her face. “Noella, what’s wrong?” He asked, genuine concern etched over his face as he reached out an arm to her, resting his hand on her shoulder.
Rick’s first instinct was to try to help Penny, but he, himself, had a hard time trying to move. Pete’s questions made him feel even worse, because, well, what if it was, in fact, his cousin, striking again? Ellis looked quite troubled by the question. He peeked further into the house, as if to make sure that no one was listening, then he looked to the two standing boys. “We can’t rule out that possibility just yet.” he told them, trying to phase it carefully. Rick’s heart almost exploded at those words. Noella, meanwhile, was having a hard time concentrating, her legs shaking as she looked up to Frank, tears in her eyes. She shook her head. “No. No, my brother –– they, uh,” she didn’t want to say it. “They found a body, Frank.”
