MIT Reunions | Felicity

Scarlett slipped her hand into his, squeezing it to ground herself a little more. “First off, it’s the only reunion I care about… Second, it’s my best friend next to you and Natasha.” To be honest, Felicity had been the first friend she’d made on campus and she’d honestly never turned her back. They’d gone through some crazy ass shit together during their college years…. Actually make that a lot.
“New York burning down wouldn’t have happened to happen right? And I thought you said they lived in Boston?” Oliver was confused now, but that was why he left the company running to Felicity and just handled getting the donor money for whatever charities they were working on. He took the beer from her, quickly taking a swig from it. “And from what you said it’s going to be hard to spot her in here.”
“They do,” Felicity said her eyes scanning the crowd. “But they sometimes work in New York, it’s kind of complicated. Like your work with Waller, that we really shouldn’t talk about in public.” She didn’t know much about it other than it happened. “Not really, I know her boyfriend will stick out like a sore thumb. Kind of like you’re helping me do that. Nothing against you, but you don’t look like someone who went to MIT.”
“I know,” he said squeezing her hand back. “And hey there is an open bar, if they aren’t there we can just get hammered and take a taxi back to the hotel.” he teased as the doors opened up.
