I love Zosia. Karolina Wydra being the new Polish/American queer icon is just.... Bombastic! (Cringe, I know, but I'm so proud cause my country isn't very LGBT+ friendly).

If I finish, this is part one of two. My iPad keeps self-sabotaging and I'm unable to flesh out what is in my head on just one canvas...

I wanted to go full Santa red-and-white, but decided on something closer to home. I was raised in Eastern Europe and we had an old guy dressed in blue bringing us presents (Yes, childhood trauma was involved). And since BG3 is a gift that keeps on giving...

Sometimes I wonder if being human, living through an invisible Great Corpo Depression while running on caffeine and whatever dopamine we can squeeze from the arts, is really how our final design was intended.

I wouldn’t cope without music. I’ve just started watching Peaky Blinders (does anyone else keep confusing them with Perky Blenders, the coffee chain?) and it’s basically an unofficial PJ Harvey/Nick Cave live gig, while the camera work is reminiscent of a music video at times. Love it.

Anyway, here’s a drawing of one of my favourite artist, Anna Calvi. That moment on stage when light and sound blur together still gets me every time. 💜
