Unpopular opinion: when Mor does come out to Azriel, I do want him to be upset. Slightly upset that she didn’t tell him, but more than he didn’t see, didn’t notice. And I want Azriel to always love her for how she endured everything with a smile despite how upset he might be at the situation in general.
But then I want him to get over it and turn into some fairy godmother and give Mor a Cinderella-like coming out story
Persephone in ACOMAF
I was writing an essay on Persephone and had an interesting thought. Usually the Persephone-character is the youngest female of the group (Feyre), but she also usually has two phases: being the young, naive woman who picks flowers and then the queen of the Underworld. She represents a cycle of innocence and death and rebirth, and I think each of the Archeron Sisters represent a part in this cycle: Elain, the young maiden covered in flowers that everyone covets; Nesta, full of a darkness she couldn’t control and a wrath only a god could muster; and then Feyre as the power that comes out of change.
Kingdom of Ash Prediction
Alright, so for the series up to this point, the title always references something that’d bigger than the previous. Throne>crown>heir>queen>empire. But a kingdom is generally considered smaller than an empire. So I hope that Aelin finally learns to scale down her focus enough to include herself in the list of important people. She’s selfless, and that’s wonderful; but she’s a destructive form of selflessness and I hope she learns to overcome that.

Prediction for Kingdom of Ash
Remember in Queen of Shadows when Aelin felt Rowans inside her? Well, what if that’s half her torture? Feeling Rowan’s heart break every damn morning he wakes up without her?

Alright, so we all know that Feyre is Persephone, but in The Lost Goddesses of Earth Greece by Charlene Spretnak, she says that Persephone went to the Underworld because she wanted to comfort the souls there.
And all I could think of was when Feyre held that dying, wingless faerie’s hand in the first book.
Unpopular Tamlin Opinion
I’m glad Tamlin existed in ACoTaR. Because if Feyre hadn’t fallen in love with him enough to go back to Prynthian after he sent her away, Rhys would still be Amarantha’s Whore and the Court of Dreams wouldn’t have reunited with him.
He’s still an asshole though and I’m glad Feyre stabbed him.
Feyre’s Wedding Rings
*slams fist on table* Alright, so I like to make rings for my characters as a sort of personality quiz, yadayada, but I remembered something about Feyre’s rings. Her one from Tamlin was gold and emerald--gold like his hair and green like his eyes. But the one she stole from the weaver was blue and silver--silver like the stars and blue presumably like her eyes.
It’s just another way our Queen symbolized Tamlin’s narcissism and Feyre’s destiny within the Night Court
Alright, so I saw this and thought about our Queen Maas, how we all know that Tamlin is roses and Feyre is thorns. But that second note, about how roses are shit at supporting things (obvi) and how with the right about of pressure nails are fine to lay on just kinda stuck with me as an appropriate comparison
Young Aelin and Chaol
Has no one talked about the correlation between tiny Aelin and Chaol saying "get up" to Caeleana? They both happened at the climaxes of their books, they both reinvigorated Caeleana, and she found she loved the speaker of those words very soon after.
