"Con Tu Adios Tellevas Mi Corazon", 2012.

It is a little bittersweet to let her go.  This is a very personal piece that I created during a time in my life when I suffered 5 deaths back to back of close friends and family in 2012.  Through the shock of it all, I painted this with them in mind.

Painting in the early morning light.  Working on small pieces for my next group show at The Animation Guild: Gallery 839 in Burbank, CA Nov. 7th at 7pm.

I'm using a very different approach and moving away from my normal acrylic watercolor type wash.  Trying new techniques only helps us grow as artists, and I was finally bold enough to take the leap.  I am liking the results, but I think it'll turn out better with more experience when it comes to using thicker paints. Although I still love painting on wood!
