So. I have this boyfriend now. He's incredibly sweet. He likes me quite a bit. I even suspect he was going to say that he loved me last night. But oh my god, I can't stop wondering about this other boy. It's killing me. I'm so hung up on it. I'm not even acting on it and i feel like I've betrayed this kind boyfriend (who, granted, has a lot of flaws and whom, i might add, Im not sure is right for me). I don't know what to do. Sitting here thinking about this boy I like who has a gf and I really don't know what to do. I've been torn about it for weeks now. Today I tried to imagine what I would do if I was dating this other guy I quite liked (back in February) and this boy I currently liked was like "hey, you were the one that got away" (a sentiment he's alluded to before). Would I really leave this February guy who I always knew I never had a future with (a situation I expect this first guy is in based on a number of reasons I won't detail here)? More importantly, do I really want to be the girl that breaks this couple up? Am I a bad feminist for wanting to? Eek. And it also matters that he and I don't live in the same city.... although his gf also doesn't live in his city either, FYI. He told me a few months ago that if I'd gotten into the school in his city that we'd have dated again-- or not "again," but this time. My friend tells me that men in happy relationships don't say shit like that and I know it's true, but do I want to date a man so willing to leave his girlfriend? Am I stupid for thinking I'd be any different? Am I naive for hoping I would be? Am I insane for still very much wanting to find out????
And she knows I was uncomfortable with it and she knows I didn't want to sleep with her and has apologized multiple times and I forgive her because I don't think she understood exactly what was happening either but I still don't want to hang out with her?
Soooooo I had sex with this woman while both of us were incredibly drunk and I don't want to say that it wasn't consensual because I remember verbalizing consent but I WILL say that she definitely took advantage of the situation and I feel super gross about the whole thing.
