The Las Encinas' uniform felt so different to her this morning she felt nauseous. Marina's death was traumatic for her, they had been friends, like sisters, since they were five. But finding out who truly killed Marina was way more painful. Just the idea of she dancing in parties or talking in school with the monster who killed her made her heart break a little more each time.
--Are you sure you don't want to stay home today?-- her mother asked, worried.

The driver took her to school and she took a long breath before getting out. The air was different too than the rest of the days. More heavier. More bloody. A murderer had been months walking in this school with total freedom, and those who knew never did something to change the story.
The hallway was extremely silent when she walked through it and the stares cut like a million knifes. She tried not to make a big show of it.
She was searching for her watch in the locker when a familiar voice spoke behind her.
She turned around to see his boyfriend. Well, accurately, ex-boyfriend. Ander looked so miserable.
-- Can we talk? I need us to talk.
-- There is nothing to talk about between us. Not anymore.

--But you didn't. You kept the secret of a murderer. You lied to me, to Guzman. You were right the first time we talk and you said you were a liar. And a coward. And I don't want to see you ever again. Don't talk to me, don't look at me, don't breath in my direction! You are death to me. -- Ander's eyes were filled of tears, and even though she always felt the urge need to wrap her arms around him when he cried, this time she felt nothing.
-- I love you. You know I do.
--No, you don't. Or you would have turn Polo in the moment he told you.
