New beginnings, healing old wounds, shedding the past. What are your cards telling you today?
A good card to pull on a Monday. I feel like this is a reminder of both what I have and what I'm building.
These daily pulls are blowing my mind - getting right to the heart of what it's been like being unemployed for the first time in ten years. I have learned so much in the past few weeks about how I was personally effected by childhood trauma and how that has translated into how I see myself in the context of my career. I have felt desperate to please potential employers and ashamed for turning them down. There is a part of me that believes I am so fundamentally unlikable that anyone showing interest in me deserves my immediate reciprocation and loyalty. Seeing that reaction for what it is - a deeply ingrained, trauma-based response, has been eye-opening. I am so grateful for the support of my family and friends who continue to encourage me to not make desperate decisions. As my husband said, I got 16 weeks to figure this out, I don't need to pick the first job that comes calling!
The perfect card for my plans today.
This feels appropriate on a day I have two job interviews.
Today is about staying inspired and having realistic expectations, two things I am not historically good at.
Pulling this card on a Monday and then not being able to figure out how to rotate the image feels *chef's kiss*.
Card of the day! Emotional satisfaction, deep connection, community. If this doesn’t resonate now, can you take five minutes to focus on the communities you are part of, and feel gratitude for them? Can you feel the support and love of your friends and family?

Seriously.
Running from knife wielding sheep demons is success, right?
Vespertine Ball pics! Late to posting. It was a great night!
Full moon ritual tonight. Happy New Year to all! May it be filed with love and magic.

Food & Romance Go Together, Vol. 2: A Romance Anthology - Kindle edition by Jody Vitek, Nancy Pirri, Nancy Pennick, J. A. Noelle, Sue Gesing, Gisele Margaux, Amy Hahn.
A froofy little romance I wrote is now for sale as part of this anthology by Satin Romance Press. It’s my first ever non smut piece (it’s sticky sweet, sappy AF romance, set in Victorian England.) The other stories are freaking adorable, so check them out too. Points if you can guess which one is my pen name. :D
