Parkinson’s treatment can trigger creativity.
Parkinson’s experts across the world have been reporting a remarkable phenomenon — many patients treated with drugs to increase the activity of dopamine in the brain as a therapy for motor symptoms such as tremors and muscle rigidity are developing new creative talents, including painting, sculpting, writing, and more.

Radiolab is an awesome radio show that explores seemingly simple curiosities It questions the fundamental nature of things, like laughter or mortality.
It’s great to use in the classroom in bits and pieces in listening exercises coupled with actual experiments and exploration. It’s a science and humanities soup of auditory deliciousness!

While I take issue with the "achievement gap" as a concept, it's always good when educational opportunity is extended to underserved populations. However, the "gap" we need to close is of every child's current performance and their highest potential rather than norm-referenced gaps.
