Meet the Muse

The Muse's presence at the city is an open secret among locals. A monster with a gentle nature towards kids and teenagers, and very selective regarding adults she trusts, Calliope was one of nine sisters (wink wink), and until very recently, she was by their side, with her son Orpheus by her side.

It was by chance Epiphaneia and Eurudice entered their lives. Two street musicians, a kid in their early teens and a lady in her late teens, both human, both with nowhere to go.

The Muses hid inside an abandoned theater by the edge of town for a few years, enough for Orpheus and Eurydice to have the equivalent of a marriage cerimony, and for Epiphaneia to integrate with the group long enough it was understood Calliope wasn't leaving her. So they all became a little group and kept migrating from region to region.

Years later, after moving a few times more, Calliope chose to settle roots in one big city with good hospitals, as Epiphaneia's congenital heart and health issues made the nomadic life quite dangerous. Heavens forbid if she has an emergency away from civilization, Calliope would break.

Just like previous times, the Muse took residence in a theater, abandoned and in a humble part of town, and made it a home for herself, Epi, Orpheus and Eurydice. The other muses chose to keep wandering, letting thhe older sister to do her thing, and praying for her safety.

TFC Day 1- Unexpected Reunion

These are Orpheus and Eurydice, Epiphaneia's brother and sister-in-law, both are about 5 years older than Epi, who just turned 22. They tend to spoil her, like she's the baby of the relationship.

I have a whole story regarding Epi, the name she chose, family dinamics and a background in music and cenic arts.

Their designs are based on a project book I found back when I was doing my thesis on illustrated books.

A friend of mine is currently explaining to me the culture of tumblr sexyman, as I was quite offline back in 'the good old tumblr days' (read no interest) and as a joke, I sent a pucture of a crochet doll I did as a practice dummy that I now use as a pin cushion and asked if they'd be a good tumblr sexyman

Their answer: "nah they're just a little guy"

Ela era um bebê bem pequeno e frágil de saúde. Isso não a impedia de ser uma peste, saindo na chuva com sua capinha, botas e guarda chuva pra brincar na grama molhada, para o desespero de Madi que tinha que virar a noite monitorando a febre da menina.
