My headcanons for The Outsiders
- Used to love baths but after the fountain incident he only takes showers and is deathly terrified of being submersed in water
- Struggles with tone and generally believes everyone is speaking harshly to him if they raise their voice a bit
- Is able to take information in really quickly making him a fast reader, not only that his memory is really good meaning he is able to remember small details from books
- Ponyboy's no.1 proofreader whenever he writes a story or essay
- Has sensitive skin to the point where he can't use certain soaps cause they make him break out in rashes
- Doesn't get squeamish easily even after bad beatings during rumbles or small scraps, the lack of reaction from him can sometimes be a bit off-putting for the other gang members
- Struggles with Tusla heat not only because he lived in NYC when he was younger but also because he gets sunburnt so quickly
- Sore loser, usually games like poker end up with him throwing half the cards off the table and excessively swearing
- When he read Little Women, his favourite character was Beth because she reminded him of Johnny
- Banned from the kitchen (he isn't a good cook and barely makes edible food)
- Clumsy with really bad hand eye coordination, he is dropping things left right centre
- His mother kept on saying that they had a 'special surprise' for Soda before Ponyboy was born, he thought it was a new horse and threw a fit when he found out it was the surprise of being an older brother, to shut him up his parents let him pick Ponyboy's birth name
- Stress bakes and his usual go to is making chocolate cake
- Is an early bird and has a very strict set morning routine he needs to follow before starting the day
- He knows the basics of alot of skills and hobbies (e.g.sewing, mechanical work)
- Also struggles with Tusla heat like Dally but it's because he gets excessive amounts of nosebleeds
- Really good at drawing however barely anyone knows and he doesn't do it often
- Whilst Steve's handwriting is neat, it is practically illegible because he has barely any word spaces and it's so tiny
- Food stealer, he will just come into the Curtis' home and start opening cupboards to find snacks without permission
- Is obsessed specifically with Mickey Mouse's Steamboat Willie era and has several tapes of it
- Every Halloween, Two-Bit has a tradition where he takes the Greasers to go and toilet paper random Socs' houses
