@cabbagebean
Your mental health doesnât make you bad.
One one hand my schizo self appreciates this
On the other hand, I wanna be evil!!!
you can be evil but not because of schizophrenia
So be as evil as you want-just know that it isnât because of your mental health, love!
There is nothing funnier to me than poorly redrawn trollfaces made around the time everyone was mocking people who made rage comics
This post is a gift.
TERRIFIC stuff by the cat!
i love how the crowd goes nuts
Unmute !
This better be in the history textbooks in 30 years
I fully expect a page with a black and white screenshot of this with some exam question like âdescribe how this image links to the covid-19 pandemic of 2020â
This one might be my new favorite.

Is thatâŠ, josh peckâŠ
If I donât see this somewhere on my tl every Friday, Iâm gonna be very upset
oh⊠she can sing
Why didnât she release this version originally??
because she was 13 and had no control over it and now shes in her 20s lol
What could bring a city/country to itâs knees faster? Collectively withholding our labor is the most powerful thing we can do right now in order to save our lives and those of our grandparents. Letâs spread this!
what about landlords who need money? Like if my family ran an apartment, we would depend on that rent coming in. The main way in which the strikes are justified is for people whoâs buildings are run by distant greasy richos ya know? Not families or middle class people.... To what extent is that the case?
Landlords arenât exactly poor. Imagine making an average of 43 dollars an hour for doing very little besides owning a property.
My building has 60 apartments at an average rent of $1000/month. Our landlords own 7 buildings this size and most of them are about twice as expensive. Weâve been told for 2 and a half years that there isnât enough room in the maintenance budget to repair the window that was broken before we moved in (and weâre on the street side of the ground floor). My landlord can just give up a coffee a week or something and learn to cope.
And honestly? If you have enough money to own more houses than you need for your family, youâre already being taken care of. You can get a mortgage freeze, youâre probably eligible for one of the government assistance options, and you are in the demographic that is being taken care of. Renters are being thrown under the bus because most of us are already financially struggling WITHOUT the jacked up prices for essentials and we are NOT eligible for that assistance.
woman in a victorian novel: *develops a fever from worrying too much*
me, shivering and sweating with stress-induced anxiety: wtf thatâs so unrealistic lol
love is so embarrassing . also the only thing that matters
why are so many people on this post saying things like âoh so what abt aromantic people then đâ like um⊠stumbling as u give up your seat for an elderly lady on the bus. stroking your friendâs hair as they cry in your arms. someone you care abt making you a long lovely playlist of songs you might like. attentively listening to your sibling as they talk excitedly about something they care abt. the sound of hundreds of people in unison singing a song they love at a concert. someone peeling a clementine and saving half of it for themselves and giving the other half to you. letting your cat crawl all over you even though her claws are scratchy. sitting in comfortable silence with someone. the pride shining in your grandfatherâs eyes when you facetime him and tell him abt what youâve been up to. taking a sip of your friendâs boba. people grinning at you when u blow out the candles on your birthday cake⊠these things arenât love to you? you guys donât consider that love? really? truly?
If college wasnât so expensive maybe we would have more medical professionals available.
having to be âmatureâ at a young age sucks bc you arenât really âmature-matureâ youâre a child playing at a maturity bc you donât have the foundation to be the bigger person when conflict arrives so what you do is ignore it bc ignoring a problem and being happy about a resolution look the same to your inexperienced eyes. Then you get adults praising you for a development above your peers but you arenât really developing. Youâre stagnant. Your peers will grow up and experience things and make mistakes and grow from them but you will keep yourself in this box, ignoring things ignoring ignoring ignoring until one day you have to face the fact⊠it wasnât maturity you had. It was fear. And now youâre an adult too and you make all of your choices based on an emotional risk/costs analysis bc you donât know any emotion other than fear & you have to start healing from your own childhood by making peace that you werenât really a mature child. You were just a child who was given too much to carry & didnât know how to say ânoâ.
this is what it feels like having anxiety when youâre like 9 and it just stays
oh, you too?
grew up thinking this was just how everyone was until someone was like âwhat the fuck are you talking about are you ok?â
and still always thinking youâre lying about having anxiety even though most people donât worry asa excessively as you.
male poets will be like, "she was a beautiful decoration, and also a cure for my mental illness... when she left me... my mental illness... became... her fault đ"
