So I was rewatching E8 aand I realized... they lost. They don’t know it yet or how they lost or even by how much they lost. Moiraine unable to channel. Rand on his own. The Forsaken. The Seanchan. Wheel of time is all about balance. Even our Season Finales are balanced. Think about Book  6′s Ending--another victory? right? they won at DW, right? It is SO Robert Jordan to pull that problematic victory move and end his book like that. I am impressed and like the episode more in light of the faithfulness to the books’ form.
