29. What did your character dream of being or doing as a child? Did that dream come true?

Caelendras was not always the wonderfully refined, silver-tongued man we see today. When he was a child he wanted to be a swashbuckling rogue... but alas, he had more talent for magic than anything else. Those childhood passions did, however, lead to him becoming quite proficient with a sword; he actually dispatched enemies with that as often as spells. While his dreams never did come true, they did help him in other aspects of his training.Thanks for the question, @smith-hadeon !

Caelendras is not the type of person who can hide his happiness for long, and even if he’s trying to there are always little signs--a spark in his eyes, the slight upward curve of his mouth that persists through almost everything. When he’s not trying to hide it, though? You’ll see the warmth everywhere he goes. He’s got a smile that’s bright and laugh-lines that show with his natural squint. Lately, he’s happier than he’s been in a long, long time.
