Presenting the magical DOCTOR MYSTERIO!
I’m getting better, but this blog is lowk the house plant I keep forgetting to water 😬
reference below the cut ✌️
3 era text posts :)
Jo and Benton!!!
( @silliestcolressfan I hope you like it 😔🙏)
3’s era is a multi shippers dream tbh and you better believe I’m frolicking in those fields 🥹
Yeah so for the Brigadier to be cognizant in "Death in Heaven," he would have had to feel himself rot for 3 years. He would have had to have woken up in paradise, seen that he could only be happy if he got rid of all feelings, and known that something wasn't right. That Heaven wouldn't ask him to cut his connection to Kate. Wouldn't keep him from seeing Doris again until he agreed to their terms.
Or maybe Missy didn't give him the option. Maybe she wanted him to suffer considering the Doctor chose him and humanity over her friendship time and time again.
Either way, his whole character is about sacrificing himself for the greater good of humanity. What's a few years of unending, mind shattering pain when the world is obviously in danger and needs an old soldier one last time?
Third Doctor Era: Technology Aesthetic
I drew them like little cartoon characters ✌️
I love how Jo turned out oh my god 😭
So I made all the Classic Doctors; and a really crappily drawn TARDIS for their house!
Vampire!3 and Werewolf!Brig for your consideration
if I could put them in a jar and shake it I’d be happy
Sexualising that old man is a full time job, AND BROTHER I’VE NEVER CALLED IN SICK or wtv
noobody is writing 3/the brigadier like they should; i need the brig to be a DEADBEAT dad in a CRUMBLING MARRIAGE, an ALCOHOLIC, extremely repressed (in all respects) and uncomfortable about his homosexuality, i need the doctor to be a Bitch (most get this right), mad at the time lords, mad about being on earth, mad about jamie and zoe, maybe being a little bit deliberate and evil about trying to make the brigadier’s whole crumbling marriage thing worse
Liz has to commit a feminism every episode or the entire creative team will have an attack
season 7 era sketches!!!
I did not fully capture the brigs nonchalant acceptance in the middle one cause I wanted to give him a little more expression. But his stupid blank expression paired with the fact he is clutching on to 3 is the reason I love that image so much. And 3 is in a straight jacket for no other reason other than I want him to be 🥹
13th doctor was literally so iconic i love her. 12th doctor ended up being so emotionally vulnerable with his companions and his friends and loved them all so much that they died for it and had to learn a lesson about how it's better to love and lose rather than never love at all. and instead of keeping any of that in mind at all 13 was immediately like "WOW that sucked bad clearly the solution is to Never Be Vulnerable With Anyone At All" and for some unpredictable reason that never worked out for her
THIS is why 13 works so well! (Idk ops exact opinion on 13’s run, but I’m hijacking this post to spread my own agenda). I watched 13 for the first time as it came out and enjoyed it, sure, but definitely fell into the mentality much of the fandom have where ‘Whittaker did a great job with and awful script’.
Years later I rewatched all of modern who up to 14’s specials (had recently watched 15’s run before) and everything really clicked. Because the Doctor, despite the different incarnations, is the same person. 12’s arc is beautiful, he starts out gruff and emotionally unavailable because he doesn’t want the hurt that comes with losing friends again. To open and with a renewed ability to be vulnerable to those around him. And that ends up absolutely destroying him, because he loses Bill, Nardole and Missy.
And then 13 comes around who is not doing that again, but has a more bubbly personality than 12. So she uses it to divert questions, she gives absolutely nothing away to any of the ‘fam’. She is superficial to them, but as the audience we know the truth we can see what’s bubbling underneath. That’s why it was so good to have Jack back in it, because he knows so much and that is dangerous to 13 because she can’t have any of her new companions know what she has gone through. Anyway, all of this to say, I forgive Chris Chibnall for the things I have said about him, I thoroughly enjoy 13’s run.
