i had an urge to make a post about how sorry i am for posting nothing except some shitty text posts these few weeks but then i decided against it.
we put such a ridiculous amount of pressure on ourselves to remain consistent, to entertain ppl, that we make our hobbies our jobs no one really pays us for doing. we’re chasing after validation, we’re exhausting ourselves and feel sorry when we’re not able to carry on. and tumblr community is full of mentaly ill ppl, who are the most affected by this kind of mentality.
im talking not only about the sims community or smth but online community in general, bc it applies to me as an artist who shares her works online as well.
so what im saying is. relax. stop explaining urself. take your time. don’t get hurt or smth when you lose followers, bc it’s not that big of a deal. capitalist society wants us to make profit of everything, wants to turn everything into competitive game, to make us crave validation so we worn ourselves out working. a hobby is smth you should enjoy, and not get panic attacks about. pizza man said fuck work. wig

Punk pop. Yeah, yeah, I never managed to drag myself out of my high school music tastes. I don’t really have a particular favorite artist, it changes based on my mood, but I like most of the more popular bands.

Most rom-coms. I really actually like, um, How I Met Your Mother? If you’ve seen it? And I typically watch at least one BC per season - my favorite in the past few years was Rosenberg.

Oh, I don’t know, somewhere warm. Somewhere I can take all my friends - I would kill for a huge beach house. Oh god, or a chance to travel the world. Like, backpacking through Europe ((A/N: SimEurope?)) would be amazing. I just want to go on every vacation. I hope that doesn’t mean I’m, like, indecisive or greedy or whatever? *chuckles insecurely*

I mean, I would really love kids some day. Probably not anytime soon - gotta get my partying out of the system first *laughs*, but yeah, definitely at some point.

Ammy is actually legitimately this bubbly - it’s not a show, it’s not self-defense, she’s really like that. Not, like, nauseatingly so, but she’s happy. Same for the laughing and smiling in the interview, she’s really that bouncy and expressive.

I’m abandoning this blog soon. I’m going to keep (some of) my stories running, I’m not leaving simblr or anything, I just want a fresh start on a new blog. It’ll be a little while before the actual change, because I’m gonna port over content and build the blog up before I leave here, and I’m currently busy (both with schoolwork and a personal issue that is the reason I’ve been scarce lately), but I just wanted y’all to know because I’ve received a couple of comments about the URL change.
