Actually wild that this episode is, in fact, about the true nail in the coffin of the Clark-Pete friendship and Clark ultimately seeing Lex as a more trustworthy friend than Pete could be. Even wild that this is s3, so it means that this is just building up for Clark's Heartbreak Of A Lifetime

Actually great that Lex let Clark steal his car and he's not at all upset about it, in fact, he just goes to Clark to basically tell him yeah if my friend needed it I would help them commit a crime (something we already know from Club Zero and The Kidnapping Of Ryan and will know again when he covers Lana's murder), hoping for Clark to see him as a true loyal friend, except it just shows the difference between Clark and Lex -- Lex didn't care that Clark stole to help himself, but Clark crossing a line for Pete is a huge blow to their friendship. Lex is a friend who will do anything for you, Clark is the friend who keeps you on the right track.

Xena is a great show, as someone who is more knowledgeable than average about classic Greco-Roman history. Not because Xena is historically accurate, but because it doesn't give a shit about historical accuracy.

One episode, Xena is hanging out with her...ex? Hercules. And the next Gabrielle is going to Bard school with *Homer*. And then Xena is talking about cesarean sections (for a half centaur-half amazon baby) and medical ethics with Hippocratus AND Galen. And then she's encouraging Brutus to murder Caesar. Next week, she's gotta beat up Ares and return the Arc of the Covenant to its rightful people.

When is this show set? The time of legends, shut up.
