He hadn’t even had the chance to process where his kidnappers had taken him before the floor had suddenly dropped out from beneath him, thrusting him headfirst into, upon first glance, looked like some sort of aging stone prison - that was, until he noticed that the circular room was not completely enclosed, a wide path carved out in front of them that then, from where he was standing, looked as if it was breaking off in two opposite directions. A maze. He was trapped in some sort of jacked up labyrinth, stuck with who was, quite possibly, the worst person to be stuck with in this kind of situation.
Despite the rather unusual gut-wrenching feeling of him being afraid - normally he wouldn’t have been this scared, but for some odd reason he felt pretty freaked out - Kenny knew that he was going to have to work hard to keep his fidgety classmate as calm and quiet as possible, seeing how this could very well turn out to be a real-life version of the Maze Runner.
"S-Shhhh!" His attempts to quiet the taller boy’s screeching were frantic as he shot several glances back at the maze’s starting pathway. He was briefly silent before he continued, "Y - we’re gonna find a way out, okay? You just gotta be quiet!"
He tore his gaze away from Tweek for a moment as he looked in all possible directions for any sort of alternative path, though it appeared that this sole creepy dark one was the only way to go. He was certain that they wouldn’t be alone in there, and though that unsettled him, he knew that they were never going to get out if they simply stayed at the starting position.
"W-Well, looks like the only way to go is forward." Though, he made no attempt to move after stating that, simply standing rooted to his position with his hands stuffed in his pockets. "Y’know, it’s - it’s just a maze, it pr - it can’t be that bad, right?”
Tweek quieted almost immediately after Kenny had hushed him, sniffling harshly as he screams came to a sudden halt. The fear remained, heavy in his stomach and making him feel like he had to throw up. His hands moved to grasp at the ends of his hair and tugged at them harshly, reduced to an almost sniveling mess of anxieties and raw fear.
" That's the point, man! It's a maze! What if it's like the one on the menu's from Denny's? I can't do that one! I can't! This one is impossible, I-I.. " He wanted to cry, he really did. It was a miracle that he hadn't already, with tears threatening to spill from his eyes at any moment. He couldn't breathe without almost choking, throat constricting, and his only instinct was to hold onto something. His voice dropped down into almost a whisper, hands shaking as they held onto the fabric of Kenny's jacket.
" I can't do this.. "
But he has to, doesn't he? Sitting there and letting Kenny go forward would be selfish and they were.. kind of friends, weren't they? He couldn't do that. The guilt would be too much.
" Nnh - l-lead the way, th.. th-then. "
They didn't have any flashlights. His phone wouldn't suffice. It was almost dead, and Kenny wouldn't have one either. They were going into the dark, scary tunnel despite every inhibition that told him no nono non no don't go forward, no, you're going to die. And oh, god, what if they came across a monster? Neither of them could protect one another! There were probably monsters down there! He knew it! He could feel it!
"You’re gonna get cold." "D-don’t patronize me, man!"
something that doesnt look like a 5 year old drew it this time
It's overwhelming. To be kidnapped suddenly, taken from his home into a too-loud city with too-loud citizens, where everything is too foreign and where he didn't even have a proper place to call his own; that had been overwhelming enough. This, however.. This was a different beast all together. He was standing in a literal maze, too afraid, too scared to put together any clues to piece together what had just happened, like his mind had suddenly gone blank, everything replaced with a thick, bubbling heap of anxiety and fear that sat in his stomach. Someone else was with him, someone he knew but didn't really talk to, but his eyes were locked on an unknown point in front of him.
" K-Kenny. " he starts, wide hazel eyes turning to face his classmate - when did he get here, why did they take him too? What were their parents thinking back home? - " Dude, wh-what just.. what just happened..? I.." his gaze tore away from Kenny to look around the thick stone walls, overgrown vegetation stretching across the aged rock. He swallowed thickly, " I-I can't do this, man! H.. How do we.. How.. " Tweek can't breathe, suddenly. His throat constricts around his breaths. His lungs ache. He can't think, he can't move, his hands and knees were shaking, but that wasn't new at all. He wanted to cry, tears already starting to pool in his eyes, but none escaped and rolled down his cheeks. A few thick minutes passed before he swallowed around the thick wad of anxiety that had made it's way into his throat and screamed -
" HOW DO WE GET OUT OF HERE?! "
Tweek Quotes- Episode 609
more Tweek and monsters! cause why not. imagine poor tweek thinking they’re only in his nightmares so he drinks coffee to stay awake. then he starts seeing them while awake and he’s left to wonder whether it’s the coffee messing with him. or if he’s just beginning to lose his mind.
TOO MUCH FUKIOIGN PRESSURE
I wish I could say “I cannot believe there’s meth in Tweek Bros. Coffee I cannot believe they’re feeding their own kid meth” but I can’t say that.. bc I can believe it.. _(:’n 」∠)_ tweek.. my son…
breathes heavily
When the double doors suddenly burst open without warning, he instantly sprang backwards in surprise before Tweek - who looked as if he were running from something dangerous and unholy - nearly sent him crashing into the pavement below. He managed to catch himself before that happened, fortunately, saving them both from what would have probably been a rather nasty fall.
As soon as his classmate began an awkward apology, Kenny shook his head dismissively. “You’re fine,” he assured as Tweek started with his whole ‘what if this’ and ‘what if that’ thing. Since he was supposed to go with this kid to whatever shitty coffee shop happened to be in the area, he figured he might as well start scavenging around through sector 4 until he found one. Though he had nearly covered the entire sector by foot with Craig on their grand expedition to find a Taco Bell, he had been so deeply immersed in his stupid phone games that he hadn’t been paying attention to anything around him. He could’ve passed fifteen coffee shops and he would never know. Good work, Kenny.
"Actually, I’m not sure where any coffee shops are," he paused momentarily before he jammed his thumb over his shoulder, pointing back in the direction from which he came, "We’re gonna have to go back to sector 4 and walk around until we can find one. I’m sure there’s one around there somewhere.” After all, there couldn’t be stands selling chocolate insects and alien porn stores and not a Starbucks.
He didn't know where one was? Shouldn't he of passed by at least four Starbucks on his way here? They were practically on every corner of every city! It was the one good thing that the big name corporate capitalists were good for! Decent coffee every few city blocks! .. Even if it didn't have that addicting quality that his dad's did. It was still good.
Sort of. He was kind of losing his taste for coffee, but he really couldn't stop drinking it. It calmed him down, after all, so he needed it. He needed it.
" H-how could you not see one on your way here! " Alright, that came out a lot more rude than he had wanted it to come out, but Tweek wasn't about to apologize for it, even if he did cut him off mid-sentence. It was pretty loud too, but whatever. Whatever. He really should of seen one on his way over here, but looking for one was just fine and dandy too. " There has t-to be like.. five per city bl-block, or something. " Feeling suddenly anxious about voicing his frustrations, he tore his gaze away from Kenny and directed it to the concrete under his feet. Another wave of dizziness and nausea almost knocked him off his feet and made his stomach do more flips. Way to probably piss off the only one willing to go get coffee with you, kid.
Toeing at the ground with a worn sneaker, he muttered a few sorries that he wasn't quite sure that he meant, and waited to see if he should turn around and go back inside.
Luckily, Sector 5 was only a short distance from where he was now, so he wouldn’t have to walk all that far. Why Tweek had asked him of all people to go to whatever coffee place happened to be in the area, he had no idea. Though, despite Tweek not exactly being his favorite person in the world, Kenny still considered him a friend, and the least he could do was go drink some nasty coffee with him.
The walk to the neighboring sector was a lot quicker than expected. He had never been in this part of the city before, but he didn’t want to spend any time exploring or marveling over what appeared to be a massive ferris wheel off in the distance. There would hopefully be time for that later.
Once he had reached the apartment building, he stopped and stood by the entrance doors. After standing there for a brief moment while waiting to see if Tweek would make an appearance, he whipped out his phone again.
[11:28:23 AM] ok im outside XD
Coffee definitively didn't sound good. Coffee sounded disgusting and made him want to throw up when there was nothing in his stomach to throw up. The mere thought of coffee made his already twisting stomach do uncomfortable back flips and then a couple of front flips for good measure, but coffee was the only thing that made him calm down and relax when closing his eyes and taking a deep breath failed to do so.
That had to be why he was feeling so shitty, right? He just needed some coffee, even if he knew he shouldn't drink coffee on an empty stomach, but he hadn't eaten anything since this overall feeling of sick set in. He barely drank anything too. Christ, he was gonna die, wasn't he? He was going to die in the middle of a city where his friends ignored him and where his parents would never find out that some freaks decided to kidnap and let their son die.
A deeper feeling of nausea washed over him as he pushed through the double doors of the apartment complex, nearly sending him crashing into his friend. If Kenny counted as his friend, that is. He probably did. Most of the 4th grade class counted each other as friends, even if they didn't really like each other.
Catching himself before he did actually send both of them crashing down to the cold, hard, pavement that would probably kill one of them below, Tweek threw up his hands before he sputtered out a quick apology.
" Shit -- sorry! " he lapsed into an awkward pause before forcing an awkward smile, "Th-thanks, man, everyone else I asked d-didn't answer! Like.. shit, wh-what if they got kidnapped a-and I can't do anything about it. Nnnh-- " he breathed out a choked wheeze, shaking in all the wrong ways, " I-I really need coffee, I don't have any - d-do you know where a coffee shop is? Th-they just gave me a bunch, but it's all gone now! "
"Do people seriously believe in all this alien stuff? It sounds pretty stupid, if you ask me.”
While it might be cool to think about, she’s inclined to be skeptical about the whole thing. Wouldn’t they have heard if there were dudes living in the sky by now? Nobody’s that good at hiding, extraterrestrial being or not. … Although, with all the stuff she’s seen— both in the city and not— she guesses that theoretically speaking, it’s kind of possible. Maybe. She guesses.
"Sh-shit, man! Aliens are out there. Don't you know? D-don't you see the signs!?"
The only reason nobody knew about them was because the Government hid everything! But they can't fool him. He can see right past them all. They can't hide all those UFO crashes from everyone. Someone was bound to find out about it - and someone did!
