Prince of Silvercity, but that isn't something that is known to others.

There are a lot of rumors about him. Some are good, and a lot of them are bad. Which ones are the correct ones?

Speaking of father, he's learned some truth about what happened thanks to an event here in Aevum. He also learned so much and grew thanks to someone in particular, and is learning to break free from his father's clutches.

「𝔟𝔞𝔫𝔤 𝔟𝔞𝔫𝔤!」- Visits to Uriah’s workshop had become more frequent as Vash had his arm studied. It was fine to meet up there for the modifications. …It kept him away from his own place even though he knew that he should go back there more often thwt he had been recently.

In any case, he was humming softly a song he remembered from when he was young aa Uriah worked until — “Ow!”

The arm twitched as a nerve connector was hit.

"Sorry--my bad." Though the apology comes out a little too soft, Uriah is sorry. He had been too focused he hadn't realized what he was doing. "Should be good, now," he says once he's double checked everything.

"How does it feel? Stiff? Too loose?"

Walking through the busy streets of Clearview, Dust can't help but stare at everything with bewilderment. So many strange people here with no tails. There doesn't seem to be anyone like him.. The rumbling of the ground shakes his paws as he gingerly walks through the streets and sidewalks, taking in the unusual scent of water and salt. His ears pick up distant waves and clinks of drinks. Despite this being an island surrounded by nothing of water, it's surprisingly lively.

He noticed a pair of blue eyes staring at him.

Another person with features he's never seen before, but this individual seemed more shocked at the Rabbit than the other way around. His ear flicks, then his paws suddenly begin their trek to this unusual fellow. The man looked perplexed. But, maybe he's projecting... Because he probably looks the same as well.

The rabbit moves his hands, signing a "Hello."

Sticks out like a sore thumb, Uriah thinks to himself. Reminds him of one of those rabbit-like creatures back home. The ones that lived not too far from Silvercity. Though he supposed the difference between this one and them was that those rabbits had electricity coursing through their bodies.

Lilith would probably have loved them. She probably would find this guy pretty neat, too.

And the rabbit approaches then...then....it signs.

Uriah looks at him, confused. Only briefly, though, and then he's raising his own hand to sign back Hey.

🍻-- A short exhale through his nose was enough as he recognized the footsteps even before Uriah had come through the underbrush. Well, he supposed that it would only be a matter of time before someone came looking for him. Logan had been missing from the townhouse for a couple of days while he sorted himself out. Packed a rough bag and hiked out almost as soon as it all came flooding back.

Usually he did just fine enough at keeping a lid on it all, but having his senses come back like that had done a number for that caged animal feeling that cities could often give him. - Not that he didn't want to participate or do as man did, but...

Logan grumbled slightly as he looked up at the traitorous predator circling them. And he'd told her to keep it hush and that he would be back in a few days. No sense in worrying the kid. He'd even left a note though it didn't really explain anything.

"Ya don't have'ta do that. Pretty hard t' come by real quiet when you got senses like mine. Besides, I kind of got it outta my system now."

Even so he was picking up his sack of clothes and following behind.

"I know I don't. Your senses remind me of my own. I figured I could show you where it is if you ever wanted to disappear again with such a vague ass note." He doesn't want to say he was worried, but Uriah did find himself waiting for Logan's return as the days passed by.

He must have gotten used to being around people. Strange.

The trek to the place isn't too far. Once they get through the clearing of plants and bushes, Uriah stops by the riverbank. The sound of water gently running down the stream, the sounds of birds chirping in the distance, and the wind blowing against plant-life do enough to drown out some unwanted noises.

"I used to sneak into the forest back home, too. My hometown, The Silvercity's always loud. Tall buildings, machines, and anything else you can think of."

"Nah, I'm not much of a sweets person, quite frankly." His mother had an IMMENSE sweet tooth, but it was never something he picked up from her. Shame, really.

Anyway...HOW did he even end up in this situation?

🍻-- While he hadn't exactly gotten used to walking around with his senses dulled, it was a hell of a transition back to normal. He was used to everything seeming like too much, but "adjusting" and then returning to that world of "too much" was something all its own beast.

At the moment he was sat in lotus position out in the woods, surrounded by trees and rocks and wildlife. He'd needed to get away from all of the relative insanity that came by way of metropolitan spaces. He needed to be in nature. He needed to be around the animals. The hike to the wilds had been a bit of a journey, but it was nice to be in a decently secluded place - or at least it was more so than any park, regular forest, or the Ather Reserve would allow.

Feeling something comforting around him was what he needed. Not hundreds of people and scents that he didn't recognize. Thankfully, no matter where one went, forests and the wilds were mostly the same.

Breathing deep, his nose filled with the smells of animals and the woods around him. Earthy, low smells. The scent of petrichor still lingering from days ago, the tracks of animals that had been in the area several weeks prior. There were plenty of other animals too who were slowly coming around curiously or minding their own business.

He could still hear faint sounds from all the way off in the fields, but they weren't intrusive. There was a deer a ways off. Birds in the trees. A whole bunch of little critters rustling the grass. He could also --

Logan opened his eyes then, turning his head towards the new scent and sound of someone approaching the little area he'd laid claim to for the moment. Well, it had been nice to orient himself for a little while. He stood up, brushing dirt and grass from his person as he pulled on his shirt again.

"Looks like we both had the same idea. Breeze said I'd find you here." Not so much as speak, but the falcon above circled around the two. Surely, Logan sensed her. Uriah wasn't typically one who conversed with people. Being so used to keeping others at arm's length did that to a person. He was learning, and he had a lot of learning to do!

At least he wasn't doing it all alone. Being here has taught him more than anything else.

"C'mon, I'll show you a place that's a little quieter than here."

「𝔟𝔞𝔫𝔤 𝔟𝔞𝔫𝔤!」- Vash's eyes roamed around the little makeshift shop. He wanted to ask why Uriah had chosen to make this little shack of a place his workshop when the younger man commented on the state of the world Vash had come from.

A few metal fingers twitched slightly.

He laughed just a little though his voice was sullen. "Well... 's kinda hard to have seasons when you've got two suns beating down on the sand all of the time. Days were a bit longer than they are here, but the nights were a whole lot colder because of the five moons. ...ending up on Noman's Land was an accident anyways. Neither people or Plants were built for that sorta thing."

Two suns and five moons....

Uriah can only breathe out what could be considered an awe chuckle. Still, he shakes his head and continues his inspection and work on Vash's prosthetic arm.

"I'll make sure this one can withstand any weather then. I wonder if it'll be with you if you were to return to your world."

Vash glanced down at his arm. It was a long moment before he replied, "Huh... I mean I think so... 'S not like I lost my arm when I came here... or at least not all of. They took th' machine gun out of it somehow, but I don' really use it all that often anyways so that was fine by me."

There's a moment of slight confusion and then a smile, "I meant my work," He clarifies with a light chuckle. "I wonder if the things I do on your arm will stick with you. Or...does it revert back to how it was." It's something to think about and look into maybe.

EMERGENCY COMMISSIONS (UPDATE)

First of all, I wanted to thank each and every one of you for helping me get Lulu the help she needs. The fight is not over just yet. This is just an update of everything that's been going on.

I had taken Lulu to the vet a few weeks ago to get her checked. They weighed her, and she came up to 45 lbs and some change. The doctor at the vet prescribed her some 4 days' worth of Cerenia to help her with her nausea and vomiting.

Toward the end of her 2nd to last Cerenia, she showed signs of still needing to vomit (she was nauseated and salivating. Kept eating grass.)

This past week, we took her to the vet again, and this time to get a blood test. On the first visit, they ran her temperature and weight, checked her stomach and chest, and did two X-rays on her, all of which came back clean. Minus her weight being at 45 lbs. She's a pitbull mix.

The blood test result came back that same day, as we did an in-house test. Everything looked perfectly normal, except for her white blood cell count. That's a little higher than it should be. She also has a low number of this thing lymphsomething (which is something pitties are prone to getting), but the doctor wasn't paying much attention to that, as that is the last thing to check.

She was prescribed Cerenia once more, which has helped her, but she still shows signs of nausea, which leads to her eating grass, which then leads to her salivating and feeling the need to vomit. They prescribed her a medication called Clavamox that helps with infections and inflammation. It's supposed to flush those out, I believe?? They also gave her two cans of ZD Hills. She does not like. There doesn't seem to be any change for the better, to be honest. Which makes me worry. The next step is for an ultrasound to be done. It can either detect something in her stomach that an X-ray couldn't detect. Like a foreign body or something detrimental. An xray is around 500-600 and that is probably not including medications and all that jazz.

🍻-- Two wolves circling. Two predators stalking each other. One with the home turf advantage, the other injured and limping but only more fierce for it.

The more he'd thought about that second bedroom the more he was sure nobody had actually been in either bed. It had been empty even if it hadn't quite looked it. He could feel eyes on him from somewhere, but he'd had that feeling of being watched for hours now so it was difficult to pin down if this was just in his head or not... which was also concerning.

He'd been there before. It didn't end pleasantly - as most things seemed to.

Logan was pulled quickly from the wandering thoughts, however. When the stairs creaked, he sat up straighter, eyes fixating in the door, ready to lunge if he had to. Even without his claws he could still beat the living hell out of anybody he had to. Even without everything that made him a mutant he was still the man who had trained the likes of Black Widow.

A kid. Well, probably not a kid exactly, but still...

He leaned back again, watching the younger man as he walked past, more so keeping an ear on the way the other moved than an eye. He tried another squeeze of the hand. Nothing, but he could feel the claws under his skin. He knew it probably meant that he also didn't have his healing factor and, well... that meant a number of things...

"Hn," he grunted back. The noise a grumble more aimed at the situation than anything else. "Yeah, settlin' in real nice."

After a moment, though, Logan then looked over his shoulder and the back of the couch. No use huffing and puffing now that he was in it, even if he was pissed off and worried. "...Name's Logan, by the way."

Uriah is pouring two glasses of beverages. Whether they're alcohol or simply just tea is up for debate, but he's handing the glass to his new roommate and drinking the other. Whether Logan chooses to drink or not is none of Uriah's concern, either. There'd be no hard feelings, as he'd probably not drink if someone poured him a drink.

"You're not getting any of your powers back until a certain point, Logan," he says through the glass before taking another good gulp and taking a seat on another couch.

"..."

Then, with a wave of his hand, his large hawk (a Ferruginous hawk) swoops through with ease to land on Uriah's arm.

"M' Uriah. This one's Breeze."
