honestly the biggest lesson here is if you value some data, you should back it up. that lesson bites us all in the ass at some point but it's better when it's an old redundant external hard drive and not the roster of your polyfragmented system. prioritize exporting, migrating, and saving info. don't fall down a data hoarder rabbit hole... for now.

"Dissociative intrusion" best describes what I experience, and it sounds requisite for OSDD1 (previously OSDD1b), but I can't find the phrase discussed anywhere. Just seems like there should be some designation between complete layman "feelings so big that someone else grabs the wheel and you're mostly there but freaked out while you regain control" and obscure academic "dissociative intrusion". My term searching could use some work probably, but like c'mon. Just be easyyyy ugh
