I think an important thing that needs to be realized about a lot of dark fiction writers or roleplayers is that a lot of us don’t like the “dark” subject itself, we like exploring the IMPACT it has on characters. Like yeah maybe I write how something truly horrific and inexcusable happens to a character but really I care more about their journey of recovering from and growing from it, not getting off to what happened to them. And not sugarcoating it is not the same as glorifying it.

This wasn't for you. I think the anon I received after someone sent me hate to my blog yesterday misassumed it was you and roped you in with the other two who were they thought were attacking me. I take back what I said about you and am sorry.

I appreciate it! I am sorry that you are getting hate messages to your blog, but I honestly think stooping to the same level and sending hate back is not the right way to go about it. As you just saw it can drag people in who have nothing to do with it, and in any case only accumulates more hatred and anger. I don’t know what the hate was about or who sent it to you, but try not to let it get to you. If someone has a problem with you, you can try to talk to them, though ideally they should talk to you.. and if that doesn’t work, don’t shy away from blocking/blacklisting and simply sashaying away from it. Life is too short to be upset about bullpoop on tumblr, honestly.
