Introducing Self Portrait No. 13, the next chapter of ParaScience, Infinity Break's horror tabletop podcast. Experimental artist Maurice Clayborn has dropped contact with his employer and retreated to his home studio complex in the Texas Hills. One of the things I do like so far with the #wokelanguage in OWHE is that its clear its obviously at least semi recent with how androcentric a lot of the language we see is at least within the soldier class leading to sentences like 'she's your man' and some dialogue from Livley, that I can't quite recall being at work rn doing my civic duty time thefting and unable to check the transcript, that *did* briefly make me assume she was nonbinary.

We even get the aside in part two about 'look we have bawdy marching songs about male *and* female soldiers having their way with god but we haven't got any verses for a they\them platoon making the assault yet'

Its an interesting friction that feels both organic and like its in conversation with the obvious themes around historical legacy and modernity the shows playing with
