Supposedly the Star can represent either bright prospects or abandonment. I was the victim in a minor car accident last year. At the time I kept flip-flopping between feeling sorry for myself and feeling grateful that it wasn’t any worse. I guess that’s the Star for you – maybe it’s not what happens so much as how you react to it.

I've ridden horses a handful of times. I wasn't good at it and I didn't enjoy it and I don't recommend that you put your naked child on top of any horse, no matter how tame. Also, sunscreen!

Some cliffs along a river for a dramatic early-morning scene. I tried starting with a photo manipulation for this one. The process was different for me and uncomfortable at first. I felt like I was ruining the photos by painting over them! It ended up with a more realistic color palette than I usually use, for better or worse.
