One thing that is truly beautiful about mental illness:

Besides the pieces of art that some may be able to create from all of those destructive thoughts that only you experience the way you do, there is something much more bliss about having a mental illness.

It's the fact that you can endure any amount of pain/dullness, and still experience happiness. When your room is a total wreck, you haven't touched it in weeks. When you can't work up the courage to shower because it just feels beyond too much. Then you could walk outside and feel the sun hit you in the face, just for a moment, you feel LIFE again. That's the beauty in mental illness. When you can appreciate those small bouts of happy.
