Main Universe Appearance and Synopsis :
Spoons
Created by Clovis Alcide Brasseaux circa May 24th 1920)
Alternative universe, Earth. Current year.
Height: 5′4″ (varies)
Weight: Approximately 200 pounds.
Apparent age: Indeterminate
She/they
Build: Mostly humanoid, curvaceous
Instead of skin, the outside of her body is mostly made up of a gold-tinted metal, though her waist, neck, fingertips, lips, breasts, buttocks, and genital regions are padded with a soft but firm material of unknown origin.
She has thick, glass-like portions that light up from within, which are located at her shoulders, ears, and in various details around her body. These areas can vary in brightness and seem to react to mood.
Her eyes operate much like small screens and usually consist of neon yellow hearts on a black background. (A third ‘eye’ is located in the middle of her forehead with another two above each eyebrow, but they only appear to the unknowing as an aesthetic touch. Secret secret!)
Fun fact! This is why she sometimes cannot see or will see certain characters (ghosts, for instance) as literal camera glitching.
On her chest is a heart-shaped glass window, much like the other glowing ones elsewhere on her body, however it appears to display a small, living, breathing galaxy. Witnesses, especially humans, may experience a mild feeling of disorientation or vertigo when staring too long. (It's completely up to you.)
She is able to swap and replace all limbs. Her lower legs are the features most likely to change, though usually these days are like robotic hooves, springy. (Think atheletic prothesises, but cool and robotic.) The joints between each section are black and sometimes highlighted with soft lights.

In the summer of 1850, Earth as we know it was changed forever.
A twin dimension -- one so similar and yet so brimming with differences -- was set on an unexpected collision course with its sister. The nexus point: a basin then and still known as Lake Pontratrain, located just outside of New Orleans, Louisiana, USA.
Instead of what should have been the destruction of both dimensions -- a cataclysmic explosion, the shattering of realities -- an even bigger anomaly occurred. The two dimensions slipped against each other and merged miraculously, much like two soap bubbles clinging to their fragile existence upon contact.
What followed immediately was a period of chaos and uncertainty as the very rules of what we deemed to be Reality were challenged again and again. People disappeared. Sometimes they reappeared, but in a different time or place, or perhaps even in some other form. Sometimes they did not.
Things once whispered about only in tales and folklore were suddenly much more Real. Monsters lurked in the shadows, especially were the film of reality was at its thinnest.
Magic was as simple as a complex mathematical equation.
Climates changed, civilizations shifted.
Even the concepts of gravity and matter were subject to occasional “glitches”.
But along with the upheaval came something unexpected: a new energy source, both as renewable and unlimited as it was improbable. A simple salt, something so common, so ordinary to the areas surrounding the Nexus Point, now held within it a brimming power just waiting to be tapped.
The readiness and abundance of such a source, along with the fresh memories of a worldwide near-apocalypse, brought with it a new way of life. New ideas. New technology. A new appreciation for how quickly what is normal or traditional can change.
The year is now 2024.
Spoons is a sentient and independent android residing (in theory) somewhere in South Louisiana. She has left behind her old life -- including but not limited to her speakeasy-turned-apartment, her “grandson” Jacob, and many, many memories -- in order to start a new phase of her existence and perhaps figure out her unique place in the multi-verse.
