this might be the best bkdk doujin i have ever read. this is made by the talented hokosin cai and i’ve been a fan of their other doujins but this one is just *chef’s kiss*

i won’t be reveling a lot, but i just wanna say how much I love this doujin so much? however there will be spoilers ahead so if you’d rather experience it ahead then just skip to the bottom where i’ll put the link.
as the warning states, the story heads into a kinda dark plot, but by the power of love alls well ends well ig. but what i like about this is that it deals with trauma a little differently (and unhealthy too so pls if any of yall experience the same trauma, don’t try this at home kids) but considering the victim’s personality, it’s actually understandable and it doesn’t come out as ooc (i’m guessing yall would’ve probably guessed who’s the victim here). yes, it’s bakugou. also, God bless hokosin cai, their art is so good at encapturing emotional moments that could move the readers. i even cried when bakugou finally broke out of his strong shell for deku to finally notice what happened to him. it has the right amount of hurt and angst and i love it.
another interesting thing besides bakugou of having a lil bit of character development and (almost but not really) overcoming his trauma, deku also got the spotlight. even though the process of that was shown in lesser panels than bakugou, but when i realized what the author was doing it was actually pretty cool. it was subtle, but when you reach the end you just feel this feeling of relief for the both of them.
again, i do not agree with the whole premise of this story tbh and how bakugou had to go through that, but then again i couldnt turn a blind eye from the things that actually happen in the real world. as someone who has a kinda similar experience with that, this story moved me and kinda hit a lot closer to home than i thought it would be. so yes, this doujin is very dear to me and is probably the best doujin i have ever read.
so there you have it folks. it’s got drama, angst, character development, smut (unwillingly so), and a good ol’ fluffy ending!
