Closed Development Work List!
Here is a list of some of the things we’re working on during our Closed Development months! More info and things will be added as we develop further. Feature details outlined here are subject to change during the development process.
Eventual quest page revamp to be more informative - things like showing what your repeatable quest count is per NPC, possibly showing which task/requirement(s) your’re on, QoL improvements, etc.
Town hop balancing, potentially obtainable elsewhere later.
Additional affection milestone rewards.
Black heart/negative affection milestones.
Replayability: option to wipe your quest progress and start over from class selection; eventually implementing a 2nd avatar slot unlock where you can be a different class and have an entirely new playthrough. This option will likely become available later on, after Official Launch.
Class specific machines with their own NPC shopkeepers.
Newbie clothing/basic apparel machines.
Seasonal/event related machines.
Monthly Potato chance machine will appear with its respective monthly Turnip chance machine each month, with a similar theme.
Pet Mood/Affection Expansion
Pet mood changes to allow for mood variation and changes within the day - ability to improve your pet’s mood!
Pet hunger changes for a different hunger system that’s closer to an “appetite” concept rather than depleting hunger, since pets don’t need to eat.
Tentatively more rewards for pet affection related tasks.
Pet affection milestones.
Turnips / Premium Chance Machine
Includes wearables that are designed primarily for aesthetic (their stat bonuses will be lesser than most wearables obtained by completing story quests).
All items in Premium Chance Machines will be of equal rarity, with a limit on the number of unique items per month.
Bonus reward - choose a free item of your choice after 10 spins, bonus rewards will likely carry over for up to 2 months.
Premium machine items/pets will not be included in any alchemy recipes or quests.
There will be additional considerations for the Premium Chance Machine, such as the retiring nature of items, alternative ways to obtain items, etc.
Opt-in ad viewing in the playground which will reward turnips for consistent viewing, similar to the login bonus.
Co-op/Competitive event type, undergoing various changes based on testing feedback during Beta.
Additional event types such as Team VS Events, Collection Events, etc are slated to be worked on and slowly released in Official Launch.
Possibly obstacles to jump/avoid, faster movement time when actively guided during active mode.
Marker indicating progress towards next encounter.
New appearances for your adventure sprite - default and unlockables to collect.
New colour choices for each sprite appearance.
New regions to access, new music, and more.
Gain pet affection & town hops over time while playing adventuring.
Integration with Housing eventually.
Guild Counsel NPC will be available in Peddler’s Port.
Guilds will be creatable by a user after fulfilling certain mid-late game requirements.
Guilds will contain a mini forum, live chat, collective guild upgrade goals, guild quests/events.
Guilds will have customizable banner shapes/colours, emblems, layout colours, and content layout.
