Hey everyone, my name is Abdelmajed. I don’t usually talk much about myself, but today, I want to share a little piece of my story.
I was born and raised in Gaza, a place that has always been my home 🏡. I grew up surrounded by my family, my friends, and the streets that I knew like the back of my hand. Life wasn’t always easy, but we had love, laughter, and dreams. I used to think that no matter what happened, home would always be here. But life has a way of changing things in ways we never expect.
Over the past months, everything I once knew has disappeared. The streets that were once filled with children playing are now silent. The houses that held so many memories are now just rubble. And the people I loved—some of them are gone forever. 💔

There's one charity that I haven't seen shared here personally, and that's Care for Gaza.
They're shared a lot on twitter as a reputable on-the-ground relief source. You can donate to their gofundme to help their efforts here.
They’re a grassroot organisation that regularly supply Palestinians with fresh food!

PALESTINIAN LITERATURE READING LIST
Israel has banned children’s insulin injectors from entering Gaza
Children can die within a matter of days without insulin. In even less time a lack of insulin will cause blindness, nerve damage, and kidney failure.
Here's The United Nations Palestine Site confirming this reporting. It's a larger article covering ALL the difficulties Israel is creating for humanitarian aid, but if you ctrl+f "insulin" you'll find that Jaime McGoldrick, the UN Humanitarian Coordinator, does say the Israelis are blocking insulin pens under the absurd argument that they're "dual use" which: they aren't even trying to claim there's a military use for them they're just pretending that "dual-use" covers obvsl civilian uses which they disapprove of. This is Monstrous.
“Furthermore, many of the goods humanitarians are trying to bring into Gaza to support water and sanitation “seem to be prohibited by the Israelis”, he said.
“They see them as something that could be used for other things such as pumps, such as generators, such as spare parts, pipes for water sanitation, solar panels and some medical equipment, which is key to our ability to address the humanitarian crisis that's there in front of us,” he said.
Some of the medical materials include basic drugs for treating chronic illnesses such as insulin pens for children.”

Because I struggled to find information on the Sudanese genocide, here's a collection of info I've found, complete with sources and ways to help.
Note: Most of these stats are coming from October of 2023, and numbers have climbed since. Content warning for genocide, war crimes, sexual violence, and more. Please correct me on anything you notice is incorrect.
The Darfur Women Action Group also has a petition to the UN from 2020 that is still live, calling for protections for Sudanese civilians and ICC charges.

Sudan War
The Sudanese people are in need of your support!!!
The Sudanese people are still suffering and facing the most heinous crimes, violations, forced displacement, killings, and rapes by the Rapid Support Forces militia, which has been fighting against the army and Sudanese citizens for more than 240 days, over eight months. Every day, this militia expands and enjoys making the lives of Sudanese citizens a living hell. In the past 72 hours, this militia has expanded and reached the Gezira state, where millions of Sudanese have already been displaced, leaving the capital, Khartoum, to preserve what remains of their lives. However, they are also being pursued outside the capital. This militia is like cancer; wherever it touches, it kills.
Truly, the Sudanese people need your support and solidarity in their fight against this brutal, bloodthirsty, terrorist militia. The least you can do to support us is to convey our suffering and our voice to the entire world, so that the Rapid Support Forces militia can be classified as a terrorist organization and pursued through international criminal courts, exposing anyone who supports this terrorism and holding them accountable.
You can participate using the hashtag #KeepEyesOnSudan #Sudan_War_Updates #انقذوا_السودان
They bombed Khan Yunis for the last 8 hours, with air, sea and artillery bombardment!
People don't know where to go, many refugees are stuck in the AlAqsa University tonight. This is unbearable, we are tired.
GAZA/DOHA/JERUSALEM (Reuters) -Israeli forces, advancing deep into western Khan Younis in Gaza's bloodiest fighting of the new year so far,
"Troops advanced for the first time into the al-Mawasi district near the Mediterranean Coast, west of Khan Younis, the main city in southern Gaza. There, they stormed the Al-Khair hospital and were arresting medical staff, Gaza health ministry spokesman Ashraf al Qidra told Reuters."
Both Motaz Azaiza and Hamdan Dahdouh have reported airstrikes on the Khan Younis area of Gaza today. On his Instagram story, Hamdan stated:
"The situation in Khan Younis on the tenth day:
"No internet or any means of communication available, and airstrikes, drone attacks, and artillery bombardment persist.
"Homes are being demolished with dynamite, entire residential areas are affected, and accessing the internet is very difficult. We climb to the hospital roof to get a signal, exposing ourselves to various forms of targeting."
As Hamdan reported, communications in Gaza have been down for multiple days now. You can donate esims to Gaza to give Gazans connections for up to 30 days. The esim website itself is incredibly helpful and details exactly how to purchase the esim (instructions on how to donate are on the main page I linked first). It also gives discount codes for Holafly (5% off when you use HOLACNG) and Nomad (NOMADCNG) esim providers. @fairuzfan also has an esim tag full of discount codes to make the esims more affordable!
If after reading the instructions you're still unclear on how to send the esim, you can message me directly and I will walk you through the process. Donating esims is an easy and direct way to help those in Gaza reach the rest of the world, including their families and loved ones outside of the Strip, so if you can afford to do so, please do.
[ID: Instagram story by @hamdaneldahdouh. A landscape photo, displayed sideways, of several massive plumes of light and dark grey smoke emerging from a city skyline during the daytime, almost completely obscuring the blue of the sky. A location pin reads "Khan Yunis." The above-quoted text appears, in English, at the top of the image. The same text appears in Arabic at the bottom:
:الوضع في خانيونس لليوم العاشر لا يوجد إنترنت ولا أيّ وسيلة تواصل، والقصف من الطيران الحربي والمسيرات والقصف المدفعي مستمر. هتالك منازل تنسف بالديناميت، ومربعات سكنية كاملة وصعوبة وخطورة في الحصول على الإنترنت لأننا نصعد على سطح المستشفى لنحصل على شبكة، وهذا يعرّضنا لخطر الاستهداف بشتَى الأشكال.

Are you a student who is unable to donate to Palestine, but still want ways to show your support?
Me too! Unfortunately, searching up ways for students who can't drive, spend money, or drop school for a week to show solidarity for Palestine just comes up with "centrist" (if not blatantly pro-israel) articles for teachers telling them how to stay neutral during discussions with students. So! Here are some ways that I've thought of to bring pro palestine sentiment into your school and community! You are more than encouraged to add on any ideas of your own!
Wear shirts, pins, or anything outwardly pro palestine. If you can't find something, make it.
Email your representatives. Email Congress. Email the White House, or whatever your country's equivalent would be. Let the people in charge know you want a ceasefire
Talk to your local library about holding an educational night about the genocide, and/or about Palestinian culture.
Talk to your peers. Find people who share your views. Create a fuss together.
Talk to your teachers about it. Having an authority figure on your side could make things so much easier for you.
Make stickers, posters, pamphlets, etc to put up around your school, town/city, anywhere you can.
Educate yourself on anti-palestine talking points and how to refute them in a calm and logical manner. (Palestinian Toolkit is a great website for that)
Speak up! It's fucking scary, but if you can, don't let people's bigotry go unchecked. (You can use knowledge from the last point to make it easier to talk)
But also, know when to give up. It sucks, but not everyone is worth wasting your time debating. Some people won't change their mind no matter what.
These are good but depending on the situation just block rando pro Israel people. Arguing with them will just boost them in the algo if it's social media. But if its someone personal who you think you can persuade, then it might be different.
i just purchased two 10GB eSIMs (MOGO and SIMLY) for gaza using the first link in this master post compiled by @sulfurcosmos - thank you so so so very much!!!! very helpful post.
also, big thank you to @sayruq , @mycological-mariner , and @gothhabiba for the chain of info/instructions they shared to purchase the eSIMs. i appreciate it so much and it made taking action so easy.
thank you all for taking the extra steps to make action easier amid what could very easily become passive signaling w/o it.
and finally, below is proof from my sent emails just now that i’ve done it. i hope at least as many of us are doing this as the eSIMs instructions post has notes (tho i realize not everyone may be able to afford it - so check out the master post for alternatives).
‼️🔔🚨 ALSO, if you do decide to go the eSIM route, don’t forget to monitor your emails for [email protected]!!! the team will still need to activate and distribute the eSIM, so be available to respond in case they need anything from you. otherwise your sentiment, $, and the eSIM won’t make the difference you hoped for.
Advice: I donated two cards a while ago but saw they weren't activated yet. I heard that sometimes they miss emails and sometimes people die before they can activate the Esim, so I sent a follow up message and one got activated same day.
If you purchased an esim a month ago and it's not activated yet, go ahead and send a follow-up.
The journalists in Gaza are using our esims to continue documenting the massacres and the civilians use them to stay in touch when all communication is down.
ID: an email inbox showing one SIMLY and one MOGO eSIM sent. End ID
