Accidents Happen..
Snip..snip... snip!
Of course, she was not paying attention... For years, Caledhel had been sewing and cutting and mending fabric, so much so that it seemed second nature to her. But it seemed even the most talented and well trained had their accidents.. The stinging feeling within in her notified the elf to glance down and shockingly notice the deep fluid nearly spouting from the space between her forefinger and her thumb. Panic set in and a very small sound of confusion and fear parted from her lips.
Hastely, the elf rose from her spot and grabbed a spare piece of fabric so wrap around the wound in hopes of settling the flow. Apply pressure, she remembered and tried to press lightly on the accident to seize the flow of blood.
Wow I forgot about this girly..
A bit of peace! Finally, she was able to part from her work to sit out among nature. She found claim to the small bench outside the shop and sat so comfortably beneath the warmth of the sun. The scent of blossoms burst through the air with the gentle gust of winds that graced the day. Needless to say it was a lovely, though common, setting for Gondolin. Perhaps some wandering might ensue today, granted she finished all that needed to be done before more work showed up..
* here lies the post I wanted to type of Cal experiencing the attack of Gondolin*

The Festival || A Peculiar AU
As she looked away for just a brief second, Maeglin took the opportunity to study her face - observe the structure and features and color and the unique identifiers that made her… her. She did not have the characteristic, high cheekbones of the Ñoldor, but was pleasing to look at regardless.
"Then what is it that you wanted to do?" More questions flew through his mind, but even he had the sense to know that much of them were invasive and quite rude for their level of acquaintance. All of that would contrast with the general merriness of the gathering of the atmosphere. "What has kept you to fabric-work?"
Around them, the atmosphere shifted somewhat. The lively music gave way to a softer and smoother melody in triple-time. It wasn’t a song he knew, but he remembered his mother taking his hands and sweeping him along the entryway of their house.
And then out of the corner of his eye, he saw his second. They made eye contact, and Maeglin understood - he was not needed immediately, but soon. Turning back to Caledhel, he offered a brief, patient, faint smile so that she would continue to speak. Knowing that he was expected soon made his mind a little restless, and eager to conclude conversation but… again, the knowledge that Elenwë might be watching made him rethink his idea to end the conversation.
A bit shocked, the Sindar was with the sudden array of questioning, however Caledhel merely saw it as curiosity and thought nothing more of the manner before responding." Well, I wanted to work with stones, hence my love for them, but my mother insisted against it because she felt the workings would be far too difficult for me to deal with."
She paused a moment, then offered a weak smile. " I've stayed with it because I had once held enjoyment with it and I am good at it,so I see no reason to toss it aside.."For a moment, she thought to return some rather personal questions, but she did not want to offend the Lord; not knowing exactly of his past and how his working might have came to be."
The song that came about was common to her mind, her brother having played it various times when she was growing up and her mother humming the tune to help ease her to sleep. Eyes turned to glance out of the corner of her eyes, noting the tempo in which the elves now danced at.
However, she turned back just in time to catch Maeglin glancing at someone across the room. But it all faded from her mind when that rare yet enchanting smile settled on the Lord of Mole's lips." Do you know how to dance?" She questioned softly,an eyebrow raising in curiosity." Take it not as an insulting question, more so of curiosity,I would hate to offend you. " Her tone still was strong, faltering not in the slightest.
