if you're a Nathaniel Howe lover like me, you probably also subscribe to the belief that he and Cousland definitely hung out as kids (even if only during summers and whatnot)
I firmly stand by the fact that they were besties/worsties when they were babies and then grew apart, only to reunite and sort out their differences later during their time at Vigil's Keep.
literally nothing will ever be funnier than this oneshot kill from merrill
"can you explain this gap in your resume?" I once breached the Fade in the name of another, to serve the Old Gods of the empire in person. I found only chaos and corruption. Dead whispers. For a thousand years I was confused. No more. I have gathered the will to return under no name but my own, to champion withered Tevinter and correct this blighted world. Beg that I succeed, for I have seen the throne of the gods, and it was empty!
Happy pridemonth
I'm replaying DA:O and I don't even know what's funnier: the hilarious mage cap of my Warden or Alistair's eyes behind the helmet 🤪

The more I think about the "reach and flexibility" bit the more it comes off to me as insanely horny. Like, before Shepard even goes out of her way to flirt, why the fuck was Garrus bringing that up? "Oh, yeah, our commanders let us kick each other's asses to relieve stress. Also, once I had sex a tiebreak with a girl whose ass I was kicking and who was brutally kicking mine". In an unromanced situation that's just kind of crazy. But everyone lets it slide because, well, who doesn't wanna listen to Garrus' talk about his sexual conquests in that smooth voice.
Garrus at the calibration console waiting for even the slightest chance to mention the "reach and flexibility" anecdote:
#*least casual guy ever voice* haha yeah i have tons of sex. with my coworkers. just btw. and i can be super chill about it also. BTW. (via @shepsfishtank)

anders like "i need ingredients for a . potion. that will split me and justice from each other. even though i said it was impossible before without me dying. forget about that i lied. will you help me find the ingredients. ok thanks the first one i need is nitroglycerin"
replaying origins and i just maxed out sten's approval so naturally i thought of this tweet and had to make it
Some spirits are dangerous. But how quickly most respond to a bit of kindness, or care, or simple attempt to understand.
🥀Sweet little words made for silence, not talk
Young heart for love, not heartache
Dark hair for catching the wind
Not to veil the sight of a cold world🥀
I feel like Emmrich’s weirdness is truly not fully given credit to because he yearns for human connection yet the closest friend he’s ever had is Johanna. Johanna fucking Hezenkoss. This is the friend he misses having, this is the person he keeps around (partially, as they say) after her construct is dealt with. Emmrich, the gentlemanly polite necromancer he presents as to others, prefers the company of Johanna fucking Hezenkoss to every distinguished and well respected necromancer he could have bonded with over his decades at the Grand Necropolis. He could be dining with nobles but he prefers a DnD freak who has Opinions on everything under the sun
