“Somewhere between a whisper and a wonder, I found you.”
A bunch of dumps of old and new, beware of the cringe, the mystery, or the chaos that will ensue :3
tiny rant, but dead ass i feel like im being followed. it could be just my paranoia since i go home late (somewhere 7-8 pm, sometimes 9 too if there's traffic), and i tend to get reallyyy exhausted.
i cant explain it, and i dont want to mention anyone either, because honestly, i could be wrong...
Soar High: Dive Drabble (old but rewritten for clarity lmaoaoa)
Ichino felt his stomach turn, dropping in temperature that it felt as though his insides were hollow.
They didn't... they didn't change the timeline that much, did they?
He was painfully aware that at this point in time, they had changed the course drastically because of their interference, and them being there when they shouldn't be was drastic enough—
But to this extent?
"What do you mean the principal is threatening to expel you?!" Kariya, who really shouldn't be moving at all because of the nasty gash received from the perpetrator a week ago, exclaimed in shock, his eyes narrowing in anger.
Kurahashi stomped her foot in injustice, curling her hands into fists like she could burst and punch something if someone were to trigger her, "Kael-senpai, we should burn the whole school down!"
That's too far!
"I'll tell Aoi to switch schools."
What?
"I'll tell Tsurumasa-nii and Hamano as well..."
They're really considering?!
Both Tenma and Rinka nodded to each other in pure seriousness as they continued to mutter whatever absurd plan they could come up with.
Immediately, the third years of the Class E continued to spout threats (and oh my god, they were being serious—if there was one thing they learned about them, their threats are not to be played with) of skinning Raimon's principal alive, possibly burning him to ashes too, stemming from their disbelief and anger.
Apparently, Kael, famous at Raimon for maintaining high grades despite his many absences, was, as you heard, on the brink of expulsion. Of course, it could be because of his minimal attendance in class, but most teachers would typically let him off due to personal reasons on Kael's end, and he compensates them by doing well on assignments and tests.
But so suddenly? This didn't happen in the original timeline—their timeline.
Kael, unfazed at first, became surprised at his kouhais' over-the-top threats. He blinked at them with the expression of someone wondering if they were in the right universe before it morphed into something close to amusement.
"Hold on, why would the principal suddenly spring this up on you?" Finally, someone was asking (or saying) the right things!
Karma nodded to Isogai, face deep in thought. "No offense, Kael-senpai, but with how much you helped us in the Sports Festival, and with your poor, almost non-existent class standing... I'm just as surprised. It's almost like the principal is using those obvious reasons as a guise for something else."
Kael didn't seem offended by those words—they carry a certain amount of truth anyway. But what really surprised them was how he nodded so casually as if he had just heard something mundane. "Apparently, I'm a threat to the soccer club."
What?
Immediately, tense silence filled the air, and sensing it, Kael smiled deliberately, looking at them reassuringly, but the subtle bitterness was there.
"...I thought you didn't join any clubs," Maehara said slowly, as if he was testing the waters. But anyone could instantly clock it—it was definitely something more than that. Something like...
Kael waved his hand off. "I didn't. I don't even like soccer that much—why the hell would I join it? However, because of my... ehem, connections, so to speak... and some meddling here and there... well," He shrugged. "The principal didn't like it. It's been going on for a while anyway, and since I'm an 'outsider,' he couldn't do anything."
His sentence didn't end there—sounded like it didn't end there. But it did because he was letting his point come across, and everyone instantly caught it.
"...until the Sports Festival, right?"
Oh my god.
"Your principal is not that petty like ours... is he?"
Kael looked at Yada who spoke, his lips quirking lightly into a smirk. "Take a guess."
"Oh my god."
Someone finally said it. And it was none other than Ichino. The observers were a little further from the rest, making whatever private conversation they had remain absolutely privy to them.
"Oh my god what do we do... we messed up big time... Kael never told me anything about a threat of expulsion... or was there even an expulsion to begin with? But what if—"
"There was, actually."
The time travelers stiffened at Ritsu's voice in their ears. "But Principal Kinzan didn't threaten Kael-senpai with expulsion until a year later—during the revolution, when he gave you guys time to prepare for God Eden..." Ritsu informed them dutifully, but with the way her voice wavers... yeah, it is bad. "So, for it to happen a year early, it is worrisome. Not only did he play a role in the revolution, but I fear for the impending route that awaits Kael-senpai..."
Shindou, or Riccardo rather, held the earpiece in his ear, face turning serious as he immediately understood the weight of the situation—then again, it wasn't exactly the first time something like this happened... a few close-calls maybe, but it was still chaotic. "What did he do before to prevent himself from getting expelled?"
"I'm sure you remember. He blackmailed both the principal and his assistant, of course."
Ah. Of course he did. Those who were there drooped their eyes as they recalled the memory in exasperation.
"Can't he do the same thing now?" Aoyama questioned, his voice hushed as he tried to listen to Class E and Kael's conversation at the same time.
Ritsu hummed. "He could... but he wouldn't."
What?
"Before, Kael-senpai had a reason to stay in Raimon. To keep going. Now, however... he doesn't care. Sure, he said that he wanted to turn over a new leaf after seeing Class E win against the soccer club... but from how things are going, I think it'd go differently. After all, there's nothing in Raimon, at the moment, 'tying' him there, so to speak. To put it bluntly, he doesn't have anyone there to keep him from leaving. He could fight back even without 'someone' there to make him stay—after all, Kael-senpai wouldn't let anyone trample on him just like that but..."
"Right now, he's like a ticking bomb..." Ichino groaned, running a hand through his hair, as the realization hit him like a razor-sharp blade. "He'd rather drag everyone down with him if he goes down. He wanted to get the last laugh before he leaves..."
Aoyama and Nishiki, standing on either side of him, patted Ichino's shoulders sympathetically as Ichino lowered his head and covered his face with his hands, letting out a muffled sound somewhere between a cry and a groan. "Why... just why... why did he have to be so anti-social..."
"To say that Kael-senpai is anti-social is a bit off right there, haha. He may be an ambivert who leans slightly toward an introvert, but he isn't that hostile. I think."
"I don't care, damnit, I can't afford for my boyfriend to get expelled!"
"Not your boyfriend yet, Ichino."
"You're not helping...!"
"Worry not, I already prepared plenty of plans! A few involve body snatching, though."

Never thought I'd release one of the drabbles for Dive sjdfsjf I got bored of homework and I wanted to write,, I didn't have the motivation to write my ongoing fics so I decided to rewrite an old drabble💀 I work backwards I fear
For context, during the Sports Festival arc, not only was Isogai challenged by Asano to a pole-toppling game, Tenma, Kariya and Maehara somehow got challenged by the soccer club too :')
And so, Class E began training for the Sports Festival (soccer especially), with not only their teachers' (Karasuma especially) help, but also rounded up a few of their upperclassmen who used to be in the soccer club (Kael being one of them)
In Dive, the same thing happens but with a few changes, resulting in Kael tethering to expulsion which shouldn't happen until the IEG arc or smth
Contemplate to rewrite an old takuten+ranmasa fic that was written in taglish (tagalog and english)✅
Translation/meaning:
"Ano ba kayo, mga basura?!" literally translates to "What are you, garbage?!" but that sounds much harsher in English than it does in Filipino ngl...😭 A more natural equivalent would be something like, "Hey, don’t sit there—you’ll get all dirty!" or "What are you guys doing, sitting there like that?"
But it's kind of different considering the context of this aha....
Aoi isn’t calling them literal trash, btw- In Filipino, there’s a common scolding where someone compares a person to ‘basura (trash or a pile of dirt)’ when they sit carelessly on the ground or in a dirty place and end up covered in dirt, as if they’ve been lying around with the trash. It’s usually said in a teasing or exasperated way, or again, in a scolding manner, not as a serious insult, especially to kids, when they'd often get themselves dirty while playing
Well, at least from my experience, everyone's experience can be different so pls don't attack me or whatsoever.....
Heyyy, I just wanted to share a theory about what Tenma is listening to on his headphones in Soar High
Estoy usando un traductor, ya sabes.. español...
Knowing that the mp3 belonged to his sister (assuming that in the changes of the story it is still like that) I have the theory that she played some instrument and recorded some songs for Tenma.
That's why when Class E asked Tenma what he listens to so much in his headphones, he didn't say anything. Creating the mystery of Tenma's musical taste.
Now! It's a Takuten theory! Hahahaha
Shindou plays the piano. Tenma likes his songs... So, secretly and very discreetly, he recorded some of Takuto's pieces on the piano, adding them to his favorite playlist.
Now, imagine a post-Kiss of... scene (They're engaged lol) With Shindou and Tenma sharing headphones, listening to Tenma's playlist, just existing together and in love (Takuto says nothing upon hearing his pieces, but Tenma notices how embarrassed he is about it)
I came up with the theory just because of that mental image XD
Sorry if this doesn't make sense, I trust the translator too much.
With lots of love and sparkles, I say goodbye <3
(Tenma's count: 8 (9 with this)
Omg the old version—aight here we gooo!
Oh and don't worry about using a translator, it's no biggieee!!
Yes, there are a bunch of changes in Soar High now unlike the older one. In the old one (the old one shot compilation), Tenma had an older sister! His entire backstory honestly revolves around her and Tenma's family entirely, resulting him in his, uh,, complicated feelings regarding relationships🥲
I'm removing Sora (Tenma's sister) from the fic for reasons, one of them being that it makes things a lil bit complicated in a way? It's a shame, though, I kind of liked the idea that she was friends with the og Raimon, Aki included, before she had to leave when Tenma was a child--and the fact that she was the reason why Lovro decided to take Tenma under his wing lololol
But well, who knows, knowing me, I tend to bring some concepts back--like the fact that I decided to throw the concept of Karma and Kariya being cousins, only to bring it back because I thought of a plot twist that was so funny, I just had to add it back lmaoaoao
But anyways!~
You're right about the music player originally belonging to Sora and that Tenma's sister recorded a few songs, yes! Most of what's inside the music player she left for him are her favorite songs from many singers, and a few instrumentals she made for Tenma to remember her by before she left :D!
Which, in a way, Tenma somewhat resented. Don't get him wrong, he loved his sister's music, it was just that she always preferred making instrumental music with her guitar, but never her voice. He liked listening to his sister's voice so much that when she left, he couldn't remember her voice anymore. He wished that if she were going to leave, the least she could do was give him something a part of her to remember her by :')
(Meanwhile, Aki wonders where she - or they - went wrong. The last time she and Sora talked was when they had this 'argument'. Poor Aki. :') )
Additionally, regarding the soccer club wondering about Tenma's music taste, it's funny because, like, I had this thought that Tenma listens to rock music on full ass volume in his earphones--
He's a, uhm, a workaholic. And paired that with his trait of being a people pleaser, it gets worse😭 He develops a habit of listening to loud music so he can focus on one thing—and I think he might've accidentally pavloved himself into automatically working on something when he hears something loud and somewhat overstimulating. That, or he just stares into space....
But other than that, he does listen to other genres of music! You'll always see him with his headphones on, but sometimes there wouldn't be any music playing because 1. it's to signal other people that he doesn't want to talk, and 2. it's to block out the 'noise' from his surroundings--basically like, dampen most of it.
Shindou plays the piano. Tenma likes his songs... So, secretly and very discreetly, he recorded some of Takuto's pieces on the piano, adding them to his favorite playlist.
STALKER TENMA— *gets thrown out the window*
No but srsly, that's so funny and cute at the same time, I love it😭💗 He'd definitely had a "arrow shot in heart" moment LOLOLOL like, he knew that Shindou plays piano (omg, he and the other ex-kunugigaokan-now-raimon kids are NOT escaping the stalker allegations)—but it's definitely different from actually hearing it in person!
Actually, fun fact! I had this thought that Shindou and Tenma met waayyy before Tenma, Kariya, Rinka, Isogai and Maehara went to Raimon! But Shindou and Tenma didn't know each other lol--it's an old draft of mine of Soar High but I decided to implement it in a different one shot fic (smth similar at least) :D!
But anyway, what happened was basically Shindou's music saving Tenma when he was at his lowest :)
It was during that time that he got suspended from Kunugigaoka because of some... 'affairs' in the soccer club (and some kind of betrayal from maehara and kariya... at that time of the draft, at least- nothing bad dw, but like it still hurt tenma). He was with someone (that someone dragged him along to a piano recital that they were invited to) at the time, and well, when Shindou played, Tenma felt this 'resonance' with his plays--and he had this 'floaty' moment(? I have no idea how to describe that I'm sorry--he opened his eyes or smth, or like, whatever 'darkness' he was surrounded in, brightened up [omg cheesy terms lez go]).
He thanked the someone who dragged him after that too, because in a way, they also saved him
But anyways, imagine Tenma's surprise that Shindou was actually the captain of the Raimon soccer team and how much he suffered because of fifth sector :') That solidified his desire to bring down Fifth Sector, wanting to repay Shindou in some way.
Then somewhere he realized, while interacting with Shindou when they were now on good terms, he was like, "wait. this feels parasocial. oops." because he realized that he was somewhat projecting on Shindou and getting a liittlleee bit comfortable with him (despite half of the time was just him being intentionally annoying, and Shindou doesn't mind it somehow either-).
Listen, Tenma had this somewhat toxic mindset for himself during the first two years in Kunugigaoka, accompanied with a 'survival to the fittest' type of pressure in the school, and spent a year isolated on a mountain with equally problematic-teens-with-issues, so I think that kind of made his social skills a bit skewed somewhat ahaha-
But in the end, he liked Shindou's company, he liked him genuinely, often teasing him and whatnot, because he liked his reactions and such,,, til he talked about it with Irina, and she was like, "I worry for Shindou's safety with how obsessed you sound. Young love ig, but anyway congrats lol I hope you don't scare him away"
Tenma: "...Ha? 😀"
*anyways insert some things happening here and there, and at confession time, when shindou actually reciprocates tenma's feelings despite tenma telling him why it's not a good idea to date him or whatever, tenma starts bawling and crying because "i turned you into a masochist!" and shindou's like, "HUH?!"*
Yeah that happened......
Now, imagine a post-Kiss of... scene (They're engaged lol) With Shindou and Tenma sharing headphones, listening to Tenma's playlist, just existing together and in love (Takuto says nothing upon hearing his pieces, but Tenma notices how embarrassed he is about it)
RAAHH PEAK PEAK PEAK OMGGG I HOPE YOUR PILLOWS ARE IN YOUR PREFERRED TEMPERATURE--LEMME GIVE YOU KISSES MWA MWA MWAAA‼‼‼💗💗💗
Takuto def heard some background shuffling noises in the recording and he had a thought, "wait, was this the time when [insert a few recollections of memory]?? *looks at tenma who is stiffly frozen at getting caught red-handed and tenma doesn't know what to do* ..how adorable :)"
And raahh yes they're engaged🤩🤩🤩 you're invited to their wedding as the flower girl or whatever kind of role you want😌😌😌 it still cracks me up sometimes that the solution Takuto thought of to reassure Tenma was marriage--imagine crying over the fear of possibly losing your lover because of an unpredictable future and he goes, "let's get married." and tenma immediately folded, im crying AHAHAHA but oh well it's basically a nutshell version of it anyway---
NAH DW ABOUT IT I UNDERSTAND YOU PERFECTLYYYY I just hope my ramblings make sense because I really do tend to go off the rails when I do, and that includes my grammar and my vocabulary💀🔫
Thank you SOOO much for sharing your theory and thoughts pookieee!!! May you have the greatest year this year, and I hope you stay safe!! Mwa mwaa!! 💗💗
(Tenma's count: 8 (9 with this)
TAKUTEN NUMBER 8 9 MENTIONNEDDD
ALSO IM SORRY THIS TOOK ME A FEW DAYS TO ANSWER AAAAAAA we had to shop for some school supplies (for a week straight because of the requirements needed to go pass at school,,,,,) and today was my first day of school aha :')
A bit of a rant, I feel disappointed that I couldn't write for something or post about to contribute to pride month and takuten lmaoao
Originally, I was going to finish this silly one shot of Medic!Tenma but uh.
June was, surprisingly, a really mentally draining month for me. I have no idea why, I am not a superstitious person, but I'm starting to genuinely believe that June is some kind of unlucky month for me because things somehow always happen in Juneee😭
Am I not allowed to be gay, or what??🙄🙄🙄
Lmao joke's aside, a lot really happened in June. Friendship group breakup (over something stupid, good lord, but that was genuinely the last straw for me), some creepy guy following and staring at me for two days during summer classes (and oh my god our summer classes would often finish at night aaaa), my foot got ran over by a motorcycle (nothing broke thankfully lol just a bruising), and a couple minor situations but those still piss me off thinking about it aaaaa
