Why is that Sanrio crocodile called “Big Challenges”, and not that it’s any of my business, but what exactly is he struggling with?

This is Big Challenges! One of my favorite sanrio characters, and I would like to yap about him a lil because he's not super popular :]

He's an alligator! He debuted in 1978, but he was never used for anything! Poor guy 😔

His first appearance on any Sanrio product was in Hello Kitty Island Adventure, 45 years after he was created!

Unfortunately, because he hasn't really been used for anything, there's not much else to say about him. He doesn't even have a birthday ☹️

I still really like him though, he looks silly. The attached image is him in Hello Kitty Island Adventure
