Explained to a few people on twitter a few so called “plot holes”. Listen, just because it’s no Johnlock doesn’t mean there are “plot holes”.

I’m honestly really disappointed in the Sherlock fandom right now. I get if you didn’t like the episode, there were some things that upset me too… But just because your ship didn’t sail in the way you wanted it doesn’t mean you have the right to send death threats or act in harmful ways towards others. This was Gatiss and Moffat’s show, they have said many times they don’t want to cater to the fans and that it was their vision with the show. If you didn’t like it that’s fine. But don’t act as if they’ve done injustices towards you or that there was queerbaiting (which is completely untrue when they’ve said several times that it wasn’t gonna happen). This is exactly why I can only handle sites like Tumblr for short periods. Fandoms get so possessive and spoilt. If it really upset you that much, then go do what normal fans do when they don’t like the endings. Rewrite it for you. Do not I repeat DO NOT threaten people’s lives because you didn’t get your way. End of rant.

Sexism and Homophobia?

Can anybody please enlighten me on how The Final Problem was: a) Homophobic b) sexist I am seriously curious to find out. Because Molly wasn’t in Sherlock’s finger. He was begging her to say I love you. She is a genuine person who cares so much about her friends to the point she gets physically stressed.

Moriarty is just a really frivolous character who is personally fine with sleeping with his guards. His personality plays into the way he talks and acts. (If the Queen dance wasn’t obvious enough then I don’t know what is anymore).

Yes, there were some plot holes in this episode, but that doesn’t discredit the entire series. I’ve seen posts saying “on Guy Fawkes night we should burn all the Sherlock DVDs” WHAT THE LIVING FUCK? I don’t care how much you disliked the episode, but you can’t just slap some big sticker like “queerbaiting” and “heteronormativity” just because it wasn’t as you thought it should. Sherlock does not owe you or the fandom shit. It is the hard work of the actors, of the producers, of all the people who made this show possible to begin with.

And if this is the end, way to go on a really low note, Sherlockians. The general community has just ruined and blown things way out of proportion

the directors of Sherlock do this show because they love the books, not to make johnlock a reality. I get that people love johnlock. It’s fine, go ahead. But that! isn’t! what! the! show! is! about!! I cannot emphasize that enough. Sherlock is one of the most well written, throughly planned and carefully directed shows I’ve ever seen. The cast is brilliant. They’re dedicated to what they do. As are the writers. Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffatt put SO much time and craftsmanship into this show. So don’t you DARE say that it “didn’t live up to your expectations” simply because 2 men didn’t become a couple. For goodness sake, they’re LIVING TOGETHER. RAISING A CHILD together. That’s more than most un-canon ships get. If you want a happy-go-lucky, your ship gets together in the end and everyone lives together, find another show. I don’t want this to seem harsh, but I’ve seen so many people shit-talking this show that I’m fed up.

in other news today i found out that eddie redmayne has a degree in art history and for his diploma he wrote a 12k words analysis of a picture that’s basically a blue square on a black background; the thing was it was a very unique shade of blue, actually used there for the first time ever; however, being colorblind, i quote, he had no idea what the colour was but well, it looked very pretty to him

Viral Deer-Feeding Teen Kelvin Peña Creates Everybody Eats Foundation to Help Feed Families

While most people would have taken that 15 minutes of fame to capitalize and make some money for themselves, Kelvin did the exact opposite, he used his newfound notoriety to help others. That all came to a head this Thanksgiving when Kelvin and his Everybody Eats Foundation came together to provide 120 turkeys to churches and food pantries and over 30 thanksgiving meals to needy families.
