HAYDEN CHRISTENSEN as DARTH VADER Obi-Wan Kenobi - Part VI (2022) Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005
when Anakin screams obi-wan's name at the end like: come back. come back and finish this. come back and dignify me with the end of this duel. We are not done yet Obi-Wan. I have not yet won.
and obi-wan keeps walking away. he has seen Anakin unmasked and he has broken down, given the heartfelt apology that would've buried him otherwise... and accepted that he has tried his best and his best was not enough but for him it was enough that he tried. that Anakin has absolved him of this moral failing that he has shouldered for ten years and with the sneering credit Anakin takes for his own destruction, obi wan can finally mourn the loss of his friend, his brother as something that was not his responsibility alone. and now obi wan is free of that. Vader, where he wanted to break obi-wan has somehow unintentionally absolved obi-wan of this even if he doesn't understand yet (and that's why he's the padawan and obi-wan is the master)
and obi-wan as he walks away, knowing he has something more to live for, outside of compulsion of duty. he has love.
that Anakin screams for Obi Wan to come back. And Obi-Wan continues to walk away from Vader, and walk forward. Rightfully leaving the past behind and onward towards Anakin's children. to Luke. To Leia. To a new hope.

Writer: The enemy goes to the main character for help because “they didn’t know where else to go”
Me: THE ENEMY GOES TO THE MAIN CHARACTER FOR HELP BECAUSE “THEY DIDN’T KNOW WHERE ELSE TO GO” !!!

Wishing all people who come into shops and pick things up then just drop them at their arse or intentionally put them back in the wrong place even though the correct place is very obvious, clearly labelled, and obviously within reach given it's where they picked up the damn things in the first place a very I am hunting you for sport
