My Deltarune Chapter 5 predictions:
1. Asgore will be either the main boss or secret boss (leaning towards main boss)
2. The secret boss (or main boss) will be based on Flowey, the way that Spamton Neo was based on Mettaton
3. The Flowey-based character will be connected to FRIEND somehow
4. The Flowey-based character will be a cowboy
5. Asgore might get hurt or die or something????? (probably not though, I’m not confident in this one)

I finally wrote another fanfiction! I really should be writing an essay right now, but I couldn’t focus until I got this idea out of my head. So, here’s some pre-canon Caine & Abel angst to pair with the emotional kick to the nuts that was Episode 8 of Digital Circus 🥲

Fiction that hides horror & tragedy behind cutesy aesthetics is awesome, but I’m really curious about the opposite; something heartwarming and wholesome with horrifying ugly aesthetics. We’ve seen plenty of clown serial killers and cartoon characters with mental disorders. I wanna see gruesome monsters named like, Meatgrind or Lucifer Hellsinger that are genuinely nice guys having a low-stakes buddy comedy
okay. so um. question. what the FUCK was that
average chapter of house of leaves
not sugarcoating it
Im scared and excited for the new episode im kinda screaming
This is my favourite game. Every part of it sucks, but each part sucks in a way that gestures toward something that would be awesome were it not actively being undermined by every other part. It cannot be improved upon because everything that's terrible about its load-bearing. Did I mention it's the best game ever made?
Might get flamed for this, but this is how it feels reading HP Lovecraft
Can any music theory people explain why the Minecraft music sounds so sad/emotional, and why the developers might have wanted the music to sound that way? Like why is the cute block game making me overcome with wistful longing at 4pm on a Monday
Toby Fox really created two of the most cartoonish muppet-ass creatures, looked at them, and said “You know what these guys need? Severe emotional problems and a gay divorce. Put the short one through an entire novel’s worth of surreal psychological horror for good measure.”
INCREDIBLY bold of Jax to claim to be the funny one when this happened in the exact same episode
Also in this same episode, where Kinger yells “it’s time for my RICOCHET SUPER MOVE” and immediately shoots himself and dies. That took place in the dark. He was fully lucid, doing that was an active choice.
Deltarune is about a girl going on a high fantasy adventure that teaches her the power of friendship and believing in herself, and her two gayass friends who are living through like three or four lovecraftian horror stories simultaneously
I THINK I FIGURED OUT THE NEW ENTITIES SYSTEM IN TMAGP.
I haven't seen any other fan theories like this, but if anyone else thought of this first, please let me know.
Anyways, alchemy obviously plays a big part in the magic system of the protocol universe. And I've seen several people bring up that Celia mentioned the three primes of alchemy. Based on my very non-expert google knowledge, the three primes are salt, mercury, and sulfur. Salt represents the body, mercury represents the mind, and sulfur represents the soul.
In other words, physical horror, psychological horror, and existential horror. There are three fear entities in this universe; Salt, which is fear relating to the body/physical harm, Mercury, which is mental/emotional fears, & Sulfur, which is existential fears. This lines up pretty well with what Colin said:
This time, the way to keep the entities from entering our world is to keep them balanced. And based on what we've seen, the way to keep the balance is probably by sacrificing people to them.
This next part is a bit of a stretch & I don't expect it to be right. Something interesting I noticed, all the Externals we've met so far seem to be Salt-coded. Maybe the OIAR is only in charge of the salt part of the balance? What if the Hilltop Center and the Magnus Institute were in charge of the other two elements? Colin didn't mention what happens when there's too much salt, but we might see that for ourselves soon.
How was I SO CLOSE and yet SO WRONG AT THE SAME TIME???
dragon blazers fandom been going crazy over the new chapters
