Jesus. Carol frowned, studying the man once again for a moment, that sense of déjà vu hitting her stronger now. Sure, Carol didn’t know Jesus that well. She knew the man had gotten Daryl’s nose out of joint and his actions were very questionable, but they were allies against the Saviors. Still, while there were VERY alarming similarities, this was NOT the same man. They looked similar, but not the same. “Sorry I just.. I knew a man named Paul who went by that name.” Just when she thought this place couldn’t get any stranger. “I’m Carol.”

Rick had mentioned a Carol, a woman who had fed herself to the walkers just to get out of THAT life. It couldn’t have been her. This world, this peaceful and ridiculously calm world. It wasn’t HIS. Hilltop? Alexandria? They didn’t exist, they weren’t the same.  He gave a smile smile, nodding in her direction “My friend uh, Rick ---- he’s not here, but he used to make a lot of comments about there being plenty of guys that had that kinda nickname.” A laugh “Nice to meet you, Carol.
