“Though my soul may set in darkness, it will rise in perfect light; I have loved the stars too fondly to be fearful of the night.”
— Sarah Williams
It really IS the end of the f****** WORLD
I fall in love with you more everyday.
That moment when you realise the book you've been reading has been telling your life story 🙄
Famous Poems Rewritten as Limericks
The Raven
There once was a girl named Lenore And a bird and a bust and a door And a guy with depression And a whole lot of questions And the bird always says “Nevermore.”
Footprints in the Sand There was a man who, at low tide Would walk with the Lord by his side Jesus said “Now look back; You’ll see one set of tracks. That’s when you got a piggy-back ride.”
Response to ‘This Is Just To Say’ This note on the fridge is to say That those ripe plums that you put away Well, I ate them last night They tasted all right Plus I slept with your sister. M’kay?
Stopping by the Woods on a Snowy Evening There once was a horse-riding chap Who took a trip in a cold snap He stopped in the snow But he soon had to go: He was miles away from a nap.
Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night There was an old father of Dylan Who was seriously, mortally illin’ “I want,” Dylan said “You to bitch till you’re dead. “I’ll be pissed if you kick it while chillin’.”
I Wandered Lonely As a Cloud There once was a poet named Will Who tramped his way over a hill And was speechless for hours Over some stupid flowers This was years before TV, but still.
THE ONE FOR DO NOT GO GENTLE IM CRYING
A chap from a faraway land Said two big stone legs (topless) stand An inscription fine Reads “this shit’s all mine” But all there’s to see is the sand.
OMFG,
A thought upon a thought...
Choices
I choose the clothes I wear.
I choose the food I eat.
I choose to create my own path.
I choose to make my own choices.
I choose who to love, though I may not choose who I fall in love with.
My life is full of choices but the most important choice of all, is choosing to be me everyday.
I will not apologise for it and I fully accept the consequences that may arise from any choice I make.
I own the responsibility because the choices are mine.
I watched "Like Stars on Earth" again today and it got me thinking. I realized that no matter how the world is, people will always find a minority to bully or try to annihilate anything they consider to be different from what they are normally used to.
I read about the struggles of people like me who have been bold enough to come out as who they are and how they were brutally persecuted and some killed for it in my country.
The kid in the movie was a square in a world of triangles. He couldn't fit into their definition of how they think a person should act, so all they did was to bully him. Trying to force him to make him shed off a half of his square self so he can fit into society's triangular normal.
We live in a world where its so necessary to classify and label things. To categorise and segregate, which lead to people being bullied and persecuted to conform to the norms of these categories that society deems acceptable.
It's amazing how we say we learn history so he don't forget our past or repeat our mistakes. But from all I've seen over the course of history, the same story keeps on happening over and over again. Only it happens to different groups, race, gender, nationalities, religions, tribe, continents, the environment, species etc.
There is no end in site. There is no proof that we learn any lesson from history.
All we do is just live in a vicious cycle of the oppressed someday becoming the oppressor of another.

I wonder why I never kissed her.
I noticed how beautiful her eyes were.
I realized she might be attracted to me too.
But I just blew it off and hurt her.
I drove her away out of fear.
Realizing who I am now gives me peace and confidence now.
It's like I can explain why I do what I do.
I'm not bothered anymore by my feelings or thoughts towards her.
I wish I could kiss her
