I’ve been having a hard time lately…
not in finding joy,
not feeling love,
as they came to me in my journey,
and they came to me with my growth.
earned honestly, just as the knowledge gained.
and in that knowledge, comes awareness.
and with that awareness comes honesty,
and honesty is vulnerability,
and vulnerability honors the truth in emotions.
and so, I’ve been having a hard time,
balancing my scales,
and when it teeters,
it leans to the light and love,
earned.
but the fear, from vulnerability,
from awareness, from knowledge,
is scared when the scales balance the other way.
will I be able to,
be willing to,
balance the scales.
