I know I’ve mostly touched on early days in my AUs but I’m thinking about Reverse AU Grace eventually developing a crush on Simon and then eventually REALIZING he has a CRUSH on Simon (grown ass man) and he tells himself like no 🙏 this is simply a natural reaction to being taken care of. I don’t actually like him I like that he’s nice to me and now oh no Grace feels guilty like he’s using Simon. like Grace is very self aware but also really good at thinking himself into a spiral. So he thinks about it too hard and he shelves it for the time being and is like surely this feeling will pass.

But of course then it gets stronger and stronger and worse and worse and it drives him CRAAAAAAAZY. He’s telling himself over and over to chill out and calm down and let it go it’s not even a real feeling!! It’s his crazy ass fricked up brain latching onto something nice and warm.

He starts avoiding Simon and isolating himself more and then he stops eating he stops letting Rocky watch him sleep so THEN Simon HAS to ask what’s wrong did I do anything that made you upset and Grace just blurts it out. Simon is like Oh… well me too. I thought this was an unspoken understood thing between us and it throws Grace so hard he gets whip lash. And then they actually talk about it when he calms down LMFAOOO

i like how danny's eyes have a pink outline in that piece. it's very splatoon and looks cool so i wanted to try to draw them that way too. also testing out more @thedawner brushes :)
