i think it was like, the second time i stayed over mia's? i ended up getting up and not wanting to wake her, so i just kinda scrolled on my phone and scrolled through some pictures my mom had sent me. stuff from back home, some stuff that had my dad in them, and i really didn't know how to feel about them. maybe i was kinda shuffling in bed, but i guess i woke her, but she wasn't mad. i kinda got out how complicated i feel about the guy, and i learned she could relate. and we just kinda talked the rest of the night until the sun came out.
the first night back with my mom after like 6 years was so much fun. it didn't start out that way, and i didn't want to let her in, but it felt like i was a little kid again. eating whatever i wanted, telling her how school had been so far, how proud she was i was playing sports. and the fact that her eyes weren't like, strung out or distant, she was into it, into me for the first time in forever. it felt good.
