after watching what’s been going on in town and how it seems the chaos hasn’t calmed down, even slightly, robin felt there just needed to be a change. at least, in a way that’ll possibly make others feel better about what they’re going through and to hopefully make sure it doesn’t get anymore topsy-turvy within everybody. “call me crazy, but do you think it’ll be a good idea to have a party? like a big party where everybody can have fun? i don’t just mean drinking and dancing either. maybe like some kind of game night. in my opinion, at a minimum it’ll stop people from creating a bigger mess.” that and robin also wanted to do something fun for a while.

“Yes, for sure!” She didn’t. But a party seemed to be something that she would want, therefore she decided to agree with it, even if she wouldn’t describe it as a good idea for the town. “I loved this idea. I think some people won’t agree but they could just not go, right?” She would still want it even if most people wouldn’t be present. Spending a night drinking, dancing and forgetting about the mess around her sounded like a dream to Camille   — She just wished it wouldn’t be only for one night. “Are you okay?” She sighed, looking at the girl in front of her.

Tears welled up in Amy’s eyes no matter how much she tried to stop it from happening. She had been holding out okay so far but the pressure of being one fifth of the council plus the pressing weight on her chest reminding her that apart from Andi, her entire had gone missing, disappearing without leaving a single trace as to where they might have gone or to what could have happened. She was doing her best not to cry, she was pretty far away from all chaos and screaming but it would not body well for someone to find her breaking down in public. Amy was so wrapped up in her own thoughts that even though she heard the person behind her speaking, she did not register the words they said. Wiping out her eyes on her sleeves, she quickly turned around, hoping her eyes weren’t red or anything. “Sorry, could say that again?” She inquired. // @coldridgestarters

“I just asked if you’re okay...” She said walking closer to the girl. “And if you want it.” Camille raised her hand that held a bottle of vodka. Usually she probably wouldn’t offer, knowing that the alcohol and other things, as food, would be over soon. But looking at the girl’s sadness, Cami thought she could use something to try and make her feel better, even if temporarily. “It looks like you might to need it.”

               WHEN THE BLONDE told her to calm down, stella took a deep breath – in and out, in and out – before letting out a rather skeptical chuckle. “ yeah – that’s easier said than done. “, she replied as she tilted her head to the side, briefly, lifting her shoulders. “ this is all so much to take in. i’m not good with… having so many unanswered questions. “, the brunette mumbled, shaking her head. “ sorry – i know that goes for everyone, probably. “.

“And still, look at me.” It isn’t that hard, she thought. The fact that Camille was able to remain calm while everyone made the situation worse, if that was even possible, was ridiculous to her. “Yeah, I know. You should take a pill or something for now...” That is how good she is with advice. “You know, to calm down...”

              ROCCO COULDN’T HELP but chuckle upon hearing her question. “ oh – i do believe it can get even worse. a lot worse. “, he replied, lifting a brow as he smiled over at the blonde. “ now they’re just… going crazy. no one’s actually hurt yet. or worse. “, rocco concluded, lifting his shoulders. “ yeah – i’d like to give them the benefit of the doubt. but… i don’t think five people alone can keep the chaos contained. “.

“The worse should be actual chaos then, it already seems bad now.” She shook her head, the scene in front of her of the current people in the town was disappointing, to say the least. “Those people can’t keep their shit together for their own good.” She said pointing at the panicked crowd. “How do they expect five people to fix this? I don’t know... I can’t think positively about it.”

“Fucked up is an understatement.” Keisha chuckled, which may have been the least appropriate reaction to the goings-on before her. Something about seeing a crowd of people collectively seeming to lose their minds when she herself felt somewhat apathetic toward the current crisis was amusing in its own way, but it wasn’t like she was doing anything to calm them down. “Don’t deal with it, then. Have you considered living in denial? It’s probably going to be a popular trend around here if you give it a little time, right after drinking all the alcohol available and passing out in the street.”

“Are you smiling while everyone else is crying their asses off over there?” It was Camille’s time to chuckle now. “I like you.” It could be nice to be around someone that wasn’t freaking out. “Uh, yes? I wish I could stay in denial, I would be the happiest person in this town. Shit you’re right, I should guarantee my alcohol for the next days. Luckily, my dads really like to socially drink wine, so I also have a small stock in my house. Don’t tell anyone though.” She knew that she would want it, especially if they stayed in that situation for too long… Or forever. It hasn’t been that long and Cami already felt like drinking, just to make it easier.

everything had turned upside down, andi didn’t know what was happening nor how would they figure this out. her and other four people had taken charge but that didn’t seem to be enough, as most of the young people around had just been running around and ruined everything. the blonde then did the only thing she knew would calm her worries long enough for her to think about her next step, she sat on the steps from the town square gazebo with her sketchpad in hands. it was hard to focus on anything to actually draw them when people seemed to not be bothered to stay still for more than a second, she sighed as she noticed someone walking past “pst, you please.” she called out “can you hold there, for like a minute, i promise i’ll let you go do whatever you want after.” she grinned. // @coldridgestarters​

Cami wasn’t as most people present in the town that dealt with the news by acting as if the world was ending and causing more despair. However, it also didn’t mean that she wasn’t just as nervous as everyone else. The first minutes she stayed in the town square, not acting as most people though, it didn’t take too long for her to walk away and take a bottle of alcohol from an store, unsupervised as everything else in Coldridge at the moment. Walking out of the place, she passed by the town square once again, it not being her destination but she wasn’t really sure of what to do. Camille looked down at the woman speaking to her and frowned. “Are you seriously?” She asked in disbelief, but had already done what the other blonde requested. “Don’t you prefer to freak out with the rest?”

Emmie sat on the wall watching people run riot. Her foot tapping with nerves and her brain going a thousand miles an hour trying to come up with some sort of solution. “People are going to want answers and we don’t have them yet.” a deep huff releasing from her lips. “How are we supposed to have answers yet?” she said in frustration. Emmie had agreed to be a apart of the council and it was only a matter of time before people wanted answers or solutions. “Something needs to happen fast otherwise this place will be burnt to the ground.”

“Can you blame them? As y’all simply decided to be in charge, you could play Nancy Drew and at least try to find something out, don’t you think?” She commented having in mind that it might have sounded rude, it wasn’t her intention though, the entire situation was just revolting and even if they stayed in those circumstances for a while, it would be more comforting for the blonde to know what happened, to know anything at all. “Yes, something really needs to happen, it has been only a few minutes and everybody is freaking out already. Can you imagine how it’s going to be if we stay like this for days?”

 A collection of five people had already taken charge, and Keisha certainly wasn’t one of them. From what she could see, she was younger than most of the people around her, and it made her feel a little inadequate – as much as she daydreamed of being a fantastical heroine, she wasn’t exactly prone to stepping up and taking charge. It was easier to fade into the background. She picked her way out of the crowd and pulled out her earbuds, stuffing them into the pocket of her hoodie so as to better hear the commotion. Though her instinct was to start checking out the perimeters of the town to see if there was a way out, she opted to remain central lest anything go wrong. “Well, this whole situation is a bag of dicks,” she murmured, largely to herself, and scuffed the toe of her shoe against the ground.

“Yeah...” She replied even knowing no words were directed at her. “This is fucked up.” She commented again without looking at the other, blue orbs focused on the crowd near them. She shook her head before looking away, finally making eye contact with the girl, deciding that continuing to observe people freaking out and acting the exact opposite as they should, would only make her more nervous about the situation. Of course it would, she was trapped with other young people who, she thought, couldn’t keep it together for their own survival. “I really don’t feel like dealing with this.” Not sober, at least.

                  “ OH NO… “, STELLA said, her voice shaking as she let her hands run through her thick, dark locks. frantically, the brunette let her eyes wander around the usually so familiar town square which now seemed so cold and oddly abandoned, despite being a spitting image of the town square she’d grew up around. “ no no no… there has to be a logical explanation for this. “, the girl continued, only to take a couple deep breaths as she tried to keep herself calm. “ right ? there has to be an explanation, hasn’t there ? “, stella asked the person standing closest to her, a desperate look in her eyes as she turned to face them.

Blue eyes went wide with the sudden interaction coming from someone next to her, as the person seemed so desperate. She looked around to see if there was someone else close to them willing to help since the blonde wasn’t sure of what to do. “Sure, there has to be an explanation.” She confirmed, more as an attempt to calm the other down. Cami believed on what she said though, that there has to be a reason for all of it, she just didn’t know what it was or if they would ever be able to find out. Thinking there was an explanation wasn’t any comfort for her as she was still in the dark, as everyone else. “You need to calm down, okay?”

          ROCCO CROSSED HIS arms in front of his chest as he walked out on to the town square where people were running around, screaming some profanities and behaving like, well, teenagers going wild. only this morning people had realised that something was off, and already half of the yougsters in town seemed to be losing their minds because ‘ woohoo, no one to boss them around any longer ‘. “ i wonder how long it’ll be until things start going terribly wrong. “, rocco sighed, shaking his head. “ i appreciate the initiative – but how are five people going to stop this place from falling apart ? “, he wondered out loud, frowning a bit. 

Cami stayed watching everyone reacting badly to the news distantly. Yes, she was also scared and mostly confused with the situation, the fact that there was no logical explanation for what was happening was the worst for her, but she wasn’t going to deal with it like everyone else, she wasn’t someone to freak out like that. “Isn’t it already?” The situation and people’s actions at the moment seemed to be going ‘terribly wrong’, even if some reactions were understandable. “They probably won’t. What even makes them the right ones for this job? If there actually is someone right for this.”
