I'd want to probably explore Pomni's angry side a bit more. She was originally going to be a much angrier character, but after casting Lizzie, she was so nice and sweet that it was toned down a bit, but I kind of regret that. Some of Pomni's anger issues made it through to the final thing, but I wish I made it more of a key part of her.

okay so i think this line may be said by kaufmo

HEAR ME OUT OK!!! RAMBLING UNDER THE CUT

so for those not in the know, kaufmo does have a canon voice!! he says like one line in a merch ad. but the important part is that he’s voiced by arin hanson, who is a legitimate voice actor, and lowk i feel like them bringing in an actual VA instead of a cameo or smth points to kaufmo actually having further relevance in the show.

so my current running theory is that this line is said during a flashback- one where kaufmo has pulled jax aside (implied to be a friend of his, if that picture on jax’s wall means anything) to tell him he might have found a way out, ergo, the exit door. jax of course doesn’t believe him, because when kaufmo takes him to see it, it’s already vanished. jax is rudely dismissive of him, they have a falling out, jax calls him crazy, and he doesn’t talk to him again until he finds him in his room, abstracted, in the pilot.

and u may be asking Well How is This Relevant To Episode 7?? THE EXIT DOOR BABY

i think jax has only recently begun to process the fact that kaufmo is gone. that’s why he avoids talking about him, it’s why he angrily avoids eye contact with his door, it’s why he blew up at pomni when she mentioned him. i think jax feels guilty for avoiding kaufmo and dismissing him during his last days “alive”. and i think in episode 7, he’ll encounter the exit door and be confronted face to face with the thing that made his friend spiral and i think that’ll be a tipping point for him. whatever that may entail LMAO

of course i could be completely wrong about all of this but there are a lot of elements in the trailer that make a lot of sense when you string them together like this SOOO I AM choosing to be a little delusional
