Hike up to see the beautiful Napali coast.  This place is so much more stunning in person. Having the privilege to witness some of the beauty of our planet gave me so much joy and peace that I couldn’t help but to shed a few tears.  Thank you God for the beautiful life that I am living.

Waimea Canyon in Kauai, Hawaii.  I didn’t realize how big and diverse the islands of Hawaii are until I saw this canyon.  What is even more amazing is that all of this is made of lava!!!!  Nature rules!

I just arrived home from my first trip to Hawaii.  I’ve never had an interest in going to Hawaii because it is so touristy and expensive, but thanks to my boyfriend I got to go for free! And I must say Hawaii took my breath away!

Recently I’ve been learning more about Hawaii, which sparked an interest and I knew that I was going to see a lot of nature, but I don’t think I was expecting as much flora and fauna diversity as I saw.  I loved seeing the variety of trees and the beautiful Hawaiian flowers! 

To top it all off I also did some amazing hikes that left me even more in awe.  I did an 8 mile hike to see the Nepali Coast in Kauai and when we reached the end I couldn’t believe the crazy majestic mountains and the beautiful coast! It brought so much joy to me I couldn’t help but to feel so much gratitude for having the privilege to be able to experience so much beauty.  

I also did a shorter hike to an awesome water fall in Haleakala National Park and did the famous road trip to Hana and Paia in Maui, which was also so breath taking.

Hawaii was what nature dreams are made off and I can’t wait to go back!

And this is my Belize video.  I had so much fun, I became a certified diver, ate super yummy food, and had a great time relaxing.

I actually just got back from Belize a week ago and I already miss it so much.  I love island living, I love just hanging out and going to the beach and not doing much.  And the food! I ate the freshest and best fish tacos I’ve ever had in Belize. Can’t wait to go back, or to find a similar island that’s a bit cheaper.

Before we went to San Pedro we went to Caye Caulker.  Which is even more tranquil that San Pedro.  In Caye Caulker we were staying at a guest house a bit of walking distance from the fun areas, but our guest house had bikes and we literally rode bikes everywhere.  It was so much fun!

Merchants by the beach in San Pedro, Belize.  One thing I wasn’t expecting in Belize is the heavy influence of Mayan culture.  I know it makes total sense that so many Mayans live there, considering it is Mayan territory, duh, but I just wasn’t expecting it.  So much of the handmade crafts that you will find in Belize look like something you could find in Mexico or Guatemala, because they share the same indigenous influence.  I love how tranquil the islands in Belize are, and I went at the beginning of tourist season, so there weren’t many tourists.  However, it is definitely over priced.  Even though Belize is a country in development aka third world, you will not find the same third world prices here as you will elsewhere.  I literally was paying 9-10 us$ for breakfast, whereas in Morocco I can eat pretty well fro 2 bucks.  So this is something to consider when planning a trip to Belize.

I didn’t take my camera to my Michigan trip this year, I decided to just take videos and a few iPhone photos.  But as you will see in the video I was having too much fun to carry a camera around.

And this video culminates my adventures through Portugal and Barcelona.  I’d love to go back to these countries one day, specially because I know there is so much more to explore there.  There’s just never enough time and so much more I want to see.

Barcelona beaches are the most fun.  One I love how bathing suits are optional, I feel like bathing suits should always be optional.  I love how there are so many bars along the beach, and I love the water climate and how calm the water is.  Whenever I am in the Pacific it is so much colder and the waves are way more intense.  So hanging out in this part of the Mediterranean was so nice.  The beach culture was my favorite part of Barcelona.
