Anyway doctors treat women like shit, especially male doctors, and I can’t imagine the bullshit I’d have to deal with if I were a woman of color or trans or a trans person of color, because I know it’s worse. I’m a white bitch and I got my anemia misdiagnosed as being fat THREE TIMES until I collapsed in a stairwell from it. My favorite one was me having scarlet fever in college and having it misdiagnosed as poison ivy until, guess what, I had to be hospitalized for that too.

But I have learned something, if you know somethings wrong, and the doctor won’t investigate it, won’t give you tests that you’ve requested, tell them to mark in your charts that THEY refused to test you. Document whenever THEY don’t take you seriously. They get real fucking nervous when you make them leave a paper trail of their malpractice
