Hermit-a-day May Day 31: Zombie Cleo!
Final day of hermit-a-day May and finishing with Cleo. Cleo is a revived pony with the help of alicorn magic she’s able to exist and not decompose like a normal zombie. I do wanna redesign this in the future but for now I still like it.

Hermitcraft Pokémon Partners
Just because I think it is a fun topic, if you had to assign one Pokémon to be the partner of each Hermit, who would you pick for each and why?
I always want people to dive past basic answers, and see where people end up. Like, sure, it's easy to pick one who matches their branding, picking a Skiddo for Doc or whatnot, but what about one that matches the energy?
On Bsky, Cleo was assigned Rapidash for instance, which matches their persistence rather than something purely visual, or Joe was given either Sigilyph or Blacephalon.
Any clever or interesting pairings you could think of? Edit: I'll reblog this after a ton of people have replied with some of my actual thoughts and some personal favs.

ZombieCleo - Fauvism
Fauvism developed from post-impressionism and worked with unrealistic colours. Which Hermit better than Cleo, whose skin is literally green?
The Mayan script in the background spells 'ZombieCleo' (za-m-be-ka-le-yo). This was one of my earlier works in my creation period, so I actually had a ton of fun learning more about how to outline fat characters! I really hope that's understandable even with the style. Also I can never resist giving a character a halo it's my fatal art flaw fr lmao

Here's my take on Zombie Cleo, tbh I think i put more effort into this one than any of the other ones

Big fan of the idea that Cleo just replaces old flesh with new flesh, similar to a skin graft, which is why she has no stitches (most of the time). Current phase is brand new grafts.
