the crazy thing about this is that it took one single word to turn it horny. coulda been a normal cute post. coulda taken the high road & conjured a delightful image of a mouse scampering down the bar with a beer ten times its size balanced on its head. but you had to say "mousegirl" and not "mouse." don't pretend this isn't what's going on either i know the score i know what's up. i'm familiar with this sort of semantic trick. you want to fuck down on an anime girl with certain characteristics of a rodent and everyone's gotta know.

Something they don't tell you about being aroace is that sometimes you do know you're not broken. sometimes you'll hang out with your friends, and they'll talk about their relationships and you know you're not broken. you know that you're just not into that. and you'll still feel shoved outside, you'll still feel sick when you realize that you can't relate in this way. and sometimes you have to live with that.

What if the chief contractor who built the opera house was a deformed circus freak who used his experience building palaces and torture chambers for sultans to keep building secret passageways and torture chambers in the basement when construction halted during the Franco-Prussian War, and then kept living down there working on an opera and killing and blackmailing people who crossed him and also training a pretty opera singer that he wants to marry?

There is nothing in the world that could have prepared me to expect even half of that.

Honestly, this explains so much about Christine's perspective too when you think about it.

My father sent me a guardian angel from Heaven to guide and comfort me in his absence: "Okay, not something that happens every day, but that is what guardian angels are supposed to do and Dad did indicate something like this would happen."

Pros of AI: my landlord that im sueing is using AI for his defense instead of hiring a lawyer (despite having the money to do so) and it is fabricating laws that don't exist which im told is not great in the eyes of the court, so maybe ill win :D

This is actually such a crucial part of healing from neglect and abuse and I have to add to this.

Because indeed, people who like you will not roll their eyes and sigh at the idea of accommodating your needs, they will value your voice and be upset with you about injustice done to you, not at you for "being difficult". They will be happy when you find a way to live a better life, and help you to get there. If you are struggling, someone who loves you wants to see you smile, not tell you to smile because "you have it so good".

No. I want the night sky back. I want sparrows back. I want to see as many butterflies as I did when I was a child. I want fucking insects to go splat on my fucking windshield because at least that means there's insects. I want the woods I grew up in to not have died. I want "oh look, a plane!" back instead of "wow, I can't see a single plane in the sky, weird." I want clothes that survive being washed and washing machines that survive being used. I want to not see overpriced strawberries from Egypt rotting on the supermarket shelf when it's not strawberry season. I want tomatoes that taste like tomatoes.

I'm so sick of the world they made for us.
