Can't relate to the whole "i wont keep myself open to or consume this queer media because i cant relate to it" because growing up as a gay trans man who also thought i was lesbian at first, i was STEADILY the mf replacing every pronoun and sentiment in every straight romance media i came across with he/him or she/her in my mind depending on what sort of gay i was. Even sprinkled a little they/them bc fuck a gender binary.
